Heat Pump Other INTRIX Heat pump Intrix Heat Pump consists of two models. The Air Source Heat Pump Series uses ambient air as the main source of energy. The Water Source Heat Pump series uses water as the main source of energy. This can be from chilled water or from a cooling tower. How Heat Pump WorksHeat Pump technology makes use of solar energy from the environment and transfers it to a water heater system. Heat from a renewable and free heat source such as the ambient air and chiller water is harvested and raised to a higher temperature for use in the hot water system. With a minimum energy input into the compressor, an output of heat is achieved with a multiple of 3-6 times of the input. Comparing to a conventional water heater, Intrix Heat Pump achieves up to 80% of energy saving. The process begins 1. At the evaporator, liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the environment causing it to evaporate. 2. The refrigerant, now in a gaseous state is moved to the compressor where it is compressed, causing it to rise in temperature. 3. The compressed (and hot) refrigerant then moves to the condenser where the heat is transferred to the water heating system. This transfer of heat causes the refrigerant to change back to a liquid state. 4. The refrigerant, now in a liquid state moves through the expansion valve, reducing its pressure. 5. The liquid refrigerant returns once again to the evaporator and the cycle repeats. Intrix Heat Pump is up to 5 times more efficient than standard or traditional heating system. It has a lower operating cost compared to fossil fuel options. This translates to cost savings. To further improve on savings, each unit is able to continuously monitor and log data in real-time. Critical data such as hot water usage patterns and heat pump status are analysed and synced with the Building Management System (BMS). The Smart Control System is also able to perform offpeak tariff optimization by enabling optimal use of electricity during "off peak hours" and increased savings on "maximum demand charges". This results in significant savings compared to a regular thermostat controlled system. The Smart Control System can be made into a Master-slave Network whereby a centralized unit controls up to a maximum of 255 units of Heat Pump and Thermal Energy Storage. The auto service rotation ensures that all Heat are used equally to prevent underuse of any particular unit. With an automatic backup, continuous heated water supply is ensured in the event of a Heat Pump unit failure. Besides the cost savings, Intrix Heat Pump emits less CO2 per kwh of heating and emits lesser harmful SOx and NOx. Other features includes a maximum of 70oC to ensure pathogen free hot water as high temperatures prevent the growth of the Legionella bacteria. Utilising Intrix's patented LETTM COP Enhancement Technology results in increased output, efficiency and energy savings. Each unit is integrated with a soft starter which prevents overloading and reduces interference to other electrical appliances when the system is started up. utilising materials and manufacturing processes that enhance its anticorrosion properties, making it suitable for sea-side installation. The Grundfos CM Booster PT is an automatic booster system for water supply in domestic and agricultural applications as well as other installations where small leakages are expected to occur. The booster system consists of a Grundfos CM pump, a pressure tank and a pressure switch assembled into one unit. The tank is delivered with the product and is easily connected to the CM pump. The system is now ready for use, with preset start pressure and compliant tank precharge pressure. The pressure band is approximately 1 bar.
