City Hall Staffing and Entry Procedures City Hall 2 Security Officers at City Hall East entry: 6:30 AM 6 PM (M F) (SO in Bldg until 10 PM) West entry: 8 AM 5 PM (M - F) City Hall after hours entry/exit Enter and Exit through East door, keypad on the right inside the door Entry - 60 seconds to enter code to disarm alarm system Exit - enter code 60 seconds before you depart the building to arm alarm system Keypad has a duress function on it Stop at the security desk at your convenience and the security officer will demonstrate how to use the system 7
City Hall Staffing and Entry Procedures After hours, please call the Security Control Center at 668-STOP when you enter and exit City Hall so we know you are in the build After hours escort If you are working after hours and desire a security escort to your car call 668-7867 20 minutes prior to your departure and a patrol will meet you at the East entry to escort you Alarm Response Security Patrol should arrive within 15 minutes or less Meeting with CSPD next week to discuss some security changes at City Hall 8

Your Actions: Stay Calm Do not use your Cell Phone Use a land line to Call 911 Notify on site security Evacuate the area Note: If exposed to a powder/liquid stay in the room, do not leave and potentially contaminate more of the building or other people wait for Hazmat Personnel Make sure you tell 911 if you have been exposed to the substance 11
Threats Bomb Threats Items to remember: Caller gender Write down what they say Accent Background noise Where is the bomb and when will it go off? What type bomb is it? Estimate age of caller Active Shooter Training programs developed for City and Utilities employees We can work with Council to receive this training if desired? Training can take 1 2 hours
