EN Super Blender Important safety instructions READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE. This appliance may be used by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children must not use this appliance or play with it. Keep this appliance and the power cord out of reach of children. This appliance is designed for domestic use and is used for blending food. Before connecting this appliance to a power socket, make sure the voltage stated on its rating label corresponds to the voltage in your power socket. Only use the appliance with the original accessories that came with it. Before putting the appliance into operation, check that it is correctly assembled and that the blending jar is properly closed. Never start the appliance unless the outer lid is properly secured to the blending jar. Do not attempt to blend ingredients that are too hard, e.g. stones contained in apricots, peaches, avocado, etc., walnut shells or bones. Otherwise the appliance may be damaged. Do not pour liquids hotter than 80 C into the blending jar. Hot steam or splashing hot liquids may cause scalding. Always start blending hot liquids and foodstuffs at a low speed. When blending hot liquids and foodstuffs, the inner cap must be inserted inside the outer lid and locked in firmly. When using the pusher attachment while blending, the blending jar should be filled to no more than of its maximum capacity. The maximum continuous operating time of the appliance is 6 minutes. Before turning it on again, allow it to cool down for at least 5 minutes. After three consecutive cycles allow the appliance to cool down for 15 minutes. When using the pusher attachment, in order not to overload the motor, do not run the appliance continuously for longer than 1 minute. Do not blend dry foodstuffs (grains, etc.) for longer than 2 minutes, otherwise this may damage the blender. Frequent blending of dry foodstuffs may result in increased wear on the blade assembly and changes to the visual appearance of the blending jar. The appliance must not run without a load. The incorrect use of the appliance may negatively affect its lifetime. You may add ingredients into the blender jar while blending through the hole in the outer lid or use the pusher attachment to speed up the blending process. Do not put your hands or items, such as kitchen knives, forks, wooden spoons, etc. into the blending jar. - 2 -

Warning: Incorrect use may lead to injuries. Be especially careful when emptying the jar and when cleaning to prevent injury on the blade assembly. Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket if you will not be using it and if you will be leaving it without supervision, before assembly, disassembly, cleaning or moving it. Check that the motor unit is turned off, disconnected from the power socket and that the rotating parts have come to a complete stop before removing the blending jar from the motor unit. Do not submerge the motor unit and its power cord in water or any other liquid, or wash these parts under running water. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at a professional service centre. It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug. Do not use the appliance when it is not functioning properly or showing signs of damage. In order to prevent a hazardous situation arising, do not repair the appliance yourself or modify it in any way. Have all repairs or adjustments performed at an authorised service centre. - 3 -

PURPOSE OF USE AND APPLIANCE FEATURES This multifunction blender represents a revolutionary solution in food processing. Within a few short moments you will prepare a whole range of meals and beverages, such as fresh nutritious drinks, milkshakes, creamy soups, sauces, spreads, blended baby food; you will grind meat, nuts or grains, or create nut or soya milk, crushed ice or outstanding creamy ice cream or sorbets. Thanks to its powerful 1 800 W motor, this blender will handle even larger pieces of fruit and vegetables, including soft kernels and peels. In this way, you will give your body the valuable nutrients that are found in the pulp, kernels and peels in the form of an easily digestible nutritious drink without having to laboriously cut the fruit and vegetables into small pieces in advance. The pusher attachment will make blending large food pieces easier and will speed up the blending of frozen foods to prevent them from thawing. The two-part lid enables the addition of ingredients into the blending jar while blending or the preparation of hot meals in the blending jar thanks to steam release holes in the lid. Its anti-slip feet provide stability to the blender during its operation. BEFORE FIRST USE 1. Take the appliance and its accessories out of the packaging materials. 2. Thoroughly wash all parts intended for contact with food, the (inner cap A1, outer lid A2, blending jar A3 with blade assembly A4, and the pusher attachment A11, using warm water and a neutral kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with clean water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth. When cleaning the blending jar A3, be very careful not to injure yourself on the sharp edge of the blade assembly A4.
