ANNEX TO THE CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY No. RU -D.08..01489 1. Designation and Field of Application Series RU N o. 0 2 5 7 7 1 1 Translation Devices trademarked by KSR KUEBLER/WIKA for measuring and controlling fluid level & flow (see Table 1 in this Annex) are designated for use in various branches of industry for controlling and/or continuously measuring fluid level or flow. Devices trademarked by KSR KUEBLER/WIKA for measuring and controlling fluid level & flow belong to explosion-proof equipment group II acc. to standards 60079-0-2011, 31441.1-2011 (EN 13463-1:2001) and are designated for use in explosion-hazardous zones of rooms and at outdoor facilities in accordance with assigned explosion-proof marking. Devices trademarked by KSR KUEBLER/WIKA for measuring and controlling fluid level & flow belong to equipment group III acc. to the standard 60079-0-2011 and are designated for use in hazardous zones in terms of combustible dust ignition in accordance with the assigned marking of protection against combustible dust ignition. 2. Description of the Design and Description of the Utilities for Explosion-Proofing and Protection against Combustible Dust Ignition Float-type magnetic reed switches series/types 60, AL-ADF..., FLS-..., MSI EX, SLS-..., H...-Ex, HLS-..., level sensors series/types MG...Ex, NMG125, AF-ADF..., AVK-ADF..., FLR-.., BLR-... operate on the principle of a float with magnetic transmission. Inside of the slide tube, there are one or several reed relays. On the slide tube, there are floats that change their height related position subject to the level of controllable medium. Optionally, the devices can also be equipped with resistive temperature transducers, thermo-relays, Namur switches. Depending on their design, float-type magnetic reed switches are fixed in vessels by means of a flange or threaded connection. Level sensors series/types FFG-T.., FFG-BT, FFG-P, FFG-BP..., FLM-, BLM- consist of the primary sensor encapsulated in a hermetic metallic pipe (measuring rod) and the block of electronics (sensor head). Level switches of series/type KSR- 21*.06, OLS-..., OPG51, OLS-C51 consist of the infrared light-emitting diode and phototransistor. Light from the light-emitting diode is transmitted to the prism located within the working section of the switch. With the prism in the air, light is reflected to the receiver, when the prism is immersed, the beam of light is refracted and does not reach the receiver; this effect is enhanced by an electronic circuitry and leads to actuation. Amplifiers fromseries/types KSR- OPTO.25G2.xx, OSA... represent an electronic device designated for signal multiplication from the switch KSR- OPT0.21*.06xx, OLS-... at its usage in the fluid level control system. Bypass level indicators from series/types BNA..., UTN... operate on the principle of the communicating vessel. In this vessel, the float is installed with a built-in permanent magnet. Float height-along-position is changed subject to the level of the medium. Magnetic field switches on visual or electric level indicators or magnetic switches are installed from the outside, on the bypass tube. Magnetic switches BGU... are switches following the non-contact principle of operation to be installed without immersion into the controllable medium. The main elements are the body and hermetic contacts (reed relays) built-in into the latter. Reed relays actuate when there is an interaction with a magnetic field of a permanent magnet. Flow switches from series/types RV..., DW..., DK..., DU..., FWS-... represent hermetically sealed normally open (N. O.) or SPDT switches encapsulated in a plastic body. Illumination devices for level indicators from series/types 709, LGG-I represent the lamp installed in an explosion-proof body. They are used as ready-mounted devices with glass-made level indicators. Intermediate relays for level sensors from series/types KR24- Ex, KR230- represent electronic devices designated for transmission of signals from level switches into the control system. Electric signal converters for level sensors from series/types,, TLEH are arranged in a cylindrical body. There are junction blocks located on the side surface of the body. Within the body, there are printed-circuit boards with elements of electric circuit. Head Officer (Authorized Person) of Certification Body Expert (Expert/Auditor) Experts (Experts/Auditors) M. W. Ponamarev A. A. Shmelyov
