Product Specification The smoke alarm shall carry the BSI Kitemark to indicate type testing to BS EN14604: 2005 and will meet the requirements of Grade D as defined in BS 5839 Pt.6: 2013. The alarm shall carry the CE mark to indicate conformance to all of the applicable EC directives including Low Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directives. The alarm shall utilise thermally enhanced optical technology which incorporates an optical sensing chamber and thermal enhancement components which make adjustments to the sensitivity settings of the alarm dependent upon background temperature. Providing a quicker response time to both slow smouldering, and fast flaming fires. MRL The alarm shall operate on a 230V mains power supply and have a built-in, sealed for life, rechargeable lithium battery back-up to power the alarm in the event of a mains failure. MBX - The alarm shall operate on a 230V mains power supply and shall be supplied with 9V PP3 alkaline battery back-up to power the alarm in the event of a mains failure. The alarm is supplied with a PUSH-FIT mounting base for ease of installation. The alarm shall automatically connect to the mains as it locks onto the mounting base without the need to use a separate wired connector. The alarm shall disconnect from the mains supply as it s removed from the mounting base with the use of a tool. CO Alarm Product Specification CO850 (MRLi/MBXi) The carbon monoxide alarm shall carry the BSI Kitemark to indicate type testing to BS EN50291-1: 2010. The alarm shall carry the CE mark to indicate conformance to all of the applicable EC directives including Low Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directives. The alarm shall have an advanced electrochemical sensor. Each sensor shall be calibrated and tested in CO gas to ensure accuracy. The alarm shall operate on a 230V mains power supply with a battery back-up. CO850MRLi- The alarm shall operate on a 230V mains power supply and have a built-in, sealed for life, rechargeable lithium battery back-up to power the alarm in the event of a mains failure. CO850MBXi- The alarm shall operate on a 230V mains power supply and shall be supplied with 9V PP3 alkaline battery back-up to power the alarm in the event of a mains failure. The alarm shall have the ability to hardwire interconnect with up to 12 CO alarms of a similar type on a single network. The alarm shall have a green LED mains indicator to confirm mains power supply is on.
