(4.8mm) bit f this installation. ï On replacement installations, mount the new thermostat in place of the old one if possible. ï Locate the thermostat on an inside wall, about 5 ft. (1.5m) above the flo, and in a room that is used often. ï Do not install it where there are unusual heating conditions, such as: in direct sunlight; near a lamp, radio, television, radiat register, fireplace; near hot water pipes in a wall; near a stove on the other side of a wall P 1 ï Do not locate in unusual cooling conditions, such as: on a wall separating an unheated room; in a draft from a stairwell, do, window. ï On new Installations, follow the guidelines listed below. ï Do not locate in a damp area. AA 2 O H B A AS ELET NOTE: eplace the batteries when this LO battery indicat appears on the display once a year. 6 Options Please be aware of the following power options 1) The 8010 can run on batteries only. (2AA Alkaline) The batteries will last well over 1 year. If the batteries are not replaced the thermostat will stop wking. 2) The 8010 can run on the if available. Set the fan switch AUTO. ï Adjust the temperature control to raise the target temp to 90 o. ï ait 5 min. ï Verify that heat is blowing from the system. To check OOL mode: ï Set the mode switch to OOL. ï Adjust the temperature control to 5 o below the room temperature. ï ait 5 min. ï Verify that cool air is blowing from the system.
