STAIN REMOVAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE Never use abrasive disks any procedure that risks damaging the surface treatment (abrasive products, solvents, etc.). Never use rubber caps (f chair legs other furniture); instead, use PVC Polyethylene caps. STAIN REMOVAL DURING WORKS Paint mark removal Do not use abrasive cleaning equipment (e.g. Scotch Brite, scouring pads, steel wool, etc.). Use the solvent f the paint if known. If the solvent is not known, start with solvents such as Essence C, White Spirit, etc. befe trying stronger solvents such as Taraclean spray. If the stain proves hard to remove, do not persist. Wipe and rinse the flo thoughly after applying the solvent. On paint drips A freeze spray will yield excellent results when paint has fmed a drip on the material (freeze sprays can be bought from cleaning product manufacturers in pharmacies). On adhesive marks Fresh acrylic adhesive marks (< 1 month) Apply a water-based solution with added cleaning product, leave to act and mechanically clean and rinse the flo. Dried acrylic adhesive marks (> 1 month) Use Essence C White Spirit. Wipe and rinse the flo thoughly after applying the solvent. Solvent adhesive marks Use strong solvents (such as Taraclean spray), but do not persist if the adhesive marks are difficult to remove (as may happen with solvent-resistant cross-linked adhesives). TIPS AND ADVICE FOR STAIN REMOVAL Rust Apply an anti-rust product oxalic acid. Rinse thoughly. Food grease/paint/ballpoint pen/felt-tip pen/heavy grease (tar) Apply a solvent such as Essence C White Spirit. Rub with undiluted product and rinse with plenty of water. Quartz Tiles Maintenance f Quartz Tiles Initial cleaning Remove loose dirt with a mop vacuum cleaner. Wash the flo using a combination machine with red pads, a scrubbing machine with medium hard brushes, a flo cleaning machine and a wet vacuum cleaner. Use a mild alkaline cleaning and maintenance agent. Rinse the flo carefully but avoid excessive use of water. Treat the cleaned flo with an SHS machine and a maintenance care agent. Initial polishing Initial polishing is not needed because of PUR (polyurethane) treatment. Daily maintenance Alternate dry/damp cleaning with wet cleaning methods. Regular treatment with a combination machine keeps the flo clean and heavy basic cleaning can be avoided. Use a mild alkaline cleaning and maintenance agent. You can also clean the flo with an SHS machine and a maintenance agent. When necessary, cleaning with a stronger maintenance agent is recommended Basic cleaning Basic cleaning should be perfmed on very soiled flos exposed to heavy traffic. Clean the flo with an alkaline strong alkaline detergent. Use a flo cleaning machine with red blue pads. Clean old and heavily soiled flos with brown pads. Rinse the flo carefully. Apply a maintenance care agent solution to the cleaned flo and treat the dry surface with an SHS machine. When necessary, localized polishing can be carried out on areas with most traffic.
