Incorrect assembly is dangerous. Follow the assembly instructions described in this manual. Do not use the air heater until all parts are mounted. Check that the ash pan is in place and that the hearth is properly installed before firing the air heater. Use common sense when using the air heater. The air heater heats up during operation and should never be left unattended after being fired. Children and pets should stay away from the hot air heater and always under the care of adults. Do not move the hot air heater. Do not move the air heater after the fuel inside it has been ignited. Before moving the air heater, wait until it has cooled down. Do not use the air heater within two meters of combustible materials. Combustible materials include, but are not limited to, wood or treated wooden boards, terraces or porches. Do not place flammable materials less than 65 cm from the top, bottom, rear and sides of the air heater. There must be no flammable vapors or liquids such as gasoline, alcohol, etc., and flammable substances in the place of use of the air heater. Do not remove the ash pan until the pellets have burned out and the air heater has cooled down. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing when lighting up and operating the air heater. 13. Schematics for closing the top door. Fig. 10 GARDEN HEATER OPERATION MANUAL Pellet air heater for outdoor use. ATTENTION: HIGH RISK OF BURNS AND/OR FIRE: All actions related to the operation, maintenance, cleaning, and loading must be taken when there is no fire in the hearth and when it is cold. Use protective gloves. Always follow the local fire protection regulations. Fill the heater with pellet only when it is cold. Never leave the heater unattended when there are still embers/flame in it, because this may cause a fire. In high temperatures, the product gets hot the hot surface may cause burns when touched. ATTENTION: HIGH RISK OF INJURY/RISK OF DEATH AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY: The heaters may be operated only by adults, only after reading this manual first. The heater must be assembled and set up carefully and in accordance with the manual to ensure safety. In a highly humid or wet environment, the product is slippery. Since the product has edges made of hard metal, use it carefully. The product includes small elements - screws, nuts etc., so there is a risk of swallowing them. Children must be always watched over by their parents. The product is heavy so be careful while lifting and carrying it (it should be carried by two persons), as there is a health risk. The heater must not be used in indoors because there is a risk of poisoning and fire. Do not use the heater while it is raining and in other unfavourable weather conditions, e.g. strong wind, as the heater may tip over and cause burns, fire, cuts caused by sharp edges or the glass from the broken pipe. Be careful while removing and cleaning the glass pipe, so as not to break it and get injured. DANGER: Always follow local fire regulations that outline the rules for using, marking and setting garden air heaters. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury, death and fire, which may result in property damage. WARNING: Put and use the product only on even, flat ground, otherwise it may tip over WARNING: Fill the heater only when there is no fire in the hearth/burner and all surfaces are cold. Use protective gloves. DANGER: NEVER cover up the garden heater if the hearth is not extinguished. It can be covered eg. to protect against external influences ONLY 24 hours after the hearth expires and after emptying the hearth. 11

1. Open the bottom door (DD) and pull out the hearth (PO). This should be done by two persons. One should hold the heater while the other should fill in the hearth, otherwise the product may tip over. Fill the hearth with pellets. Do not fill it to the top, leave 5 cm space below the top edge. 2. The easiest way to kindle pellets is by putting on it natural wood tinder. Do not use liquid tinder or other highly flammable materials. This may cause fire/burns and break the quartz pipe. NEVER use liquid tinder. Do not use gasoline, alcohol or other flammable liquids to kindle pellets. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury, death and fire, which may result in property damage. WARNING: Always wear protective gloves to protect your arms and forearms. Failure to do so may result in serious injury and even death. 3. Push the hearth into the housing. 4. Close the door. 5. The flame may be controlled by covering the openings in the hearth shield (OP) partially. To reduce the flame, cover the openings partially. Do that only when there is no fire in the hearth. WARNING: Always wear protective gloves to protect your arms and forearms. Failure to do so may result in serious injury and even death. RECOMMENDATION: The more obscured the holes are, the less oxygen is supplied to the hearth. This results in the appearance of a higher flame (burning oxygen from the glass tube) and a deterioration of combustion quality - possibly of more smoke. Larger openings result in greater oxygen availability to the hearth (the combustion process takes place mostly in the steel hearth) and better flame quality, but the flame will be lower. It is recommended to cover the openings so that there is no dark smoke visible and that the flame is bright in color and relatively high. Therefore, it is recommended that the holes are half-covered as shown in Figure 11.2. This allows the most optimal flame and burning time of the pellet. Fig. 11.1. Damper open. Fig. 11.2. Damper half-open. ATTENTION!!!: Remember that the pipe may be blackened, however the right fire should clean most of it. ATTENTION!!!: The heater shields get very hot. High temperature may discolour the housing. 12

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE OF THE GARDEN HEATER DANGER: All work on cleaning, maintenance and storage of the garden heater should only be performed if the fire in the hearth is extinguished and the heater is cold. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury, death and fire, which may result in property damage. DANGER: NEVER cover up the garden heater if the hearth is not extinguished. It can be covered eg. to protect against external influences ONLY 24 hours after the hearth expires and after emptying the hearth. Housing cleaning: Wipe surface with damp cloth / mild soap solution. Stains can be removed with a degreasing dishwashing liquid and sponge. Burner cleaning: After each use remove the ashes. Perform this activity only when the burner is cold and extinguished. When the burner is extinguished and cold the ashes should be removed from inside by removing of the burner which is held by guides. Cleaning of glass tube: carefully remove the glass tube from the burner and clean with a brush / detergent. This should only be done when the pipe is cold. Maintenance: The internal components of the patio heater are made of metal and are subject to natural processes. The surface of the heater is subject to rusting and discolorations caused by high temperature. It is a natural phenomenon. Storage: If possible, keep the garden heater in a cool and dry room. If kept outdoor please cover with a waterproof cover. In order to avoid moisture accumulation ensure air circulation.
