Business Area Traveling Cable for Crane Our traveling cables for transportation are used in the power and control sections of the construction cranes and cargo-handling equipment in sea ports, construction sites, and industrial facilities. Depending on the mode of installation, reel festoon and spreader cables are available. Unlike cable products for fixed installation, our cables for traveling applications are designed to satisfy the higher requirements of bending and weather resistance, high tensile strength and superb mechanical performance and flexibility needed to withstand repeated movement. Rolling Stock Cable RS-Route, which is the cable product by TMC for rolling stock applications, is used for passenger and cargo cars of express trains, subways and city tracks. TMC offers power and signal cables. RS-Route provides smaller bending radius compared to previous products due to its thinner thickness and smaller outer diameter. It can also contribute to better utilization of time and space and offers greater convenience. Since our cable products are lighter, they contribute to greater train efficiency. Also, they operate normally in a wider range of environmental conditions (from -50 to 125 ) and deliver a long service life. Green-business cables TMC s wind power generation cables are used to link the power produced from the wind generator to the power grid. There are three types of cables the turbine cable that is installed inside the generator, the inter-array cable used for connecting the local network of the offshore wind power generator, and the export cable that connects the offshore substation of the offshore wind farm to the land substation. For the turbine cables, a high resistance to torsion and vertical tension is required because of the characteristic of the wind power generator which rotates according to wind direction. High stability is required for the inter-array cables and export cables since they are embedded on the ocean floor. TMC s solar power generation cables used for solar power generation have been built to be weatherproof and cold-resistant to endure severe conditions.
