KITCHENS REMODELED The following pages show kitchens that were remodeled by Rogers Residential Remodeling. Some kitchens were gutted and completely renovated, and others were updated without replacing the cabinets. For all of these kitchens, we did the design work and managed all aspects of the projects. Townsend Kitchen - This kitchen was completely gutted and redone. A wall separating the kitchen and den was removed, and a 12-foot island built in place of the wall. The dining room was converted to a butler s pantry. Contemporary style cabinets are installed with black granite tops, high efficiency Thermador cook top and ovens, two Kitchenaid refrigerators. Bamboo floors were installed. The ceiling over the den and kitchen was vaulted. Low voltage can lights were installed in the ceiling and cable lighting above the kitchen galley. Snow White Kitchen - This kitchen was gutted and completely renovated. Absolute Black granite countertops in a brushed finish look great with the gorgeous Montserrat Gold slab on the 9 by 4 island, with a backsplash designed to pull them together. Dacor 48-inch range with pot filler, and 48-inch built-in refrigerator. Island with built-in microwave, wine rack and wine cooler and 2 nd sink. See www.10816snowwhite.com for more photos. Vancouver Kitchen - This kitchen was gutted and expanded to include a small butlers pantry and a wet bar, and opened up to the family room. New maple cabinets with white Silestone countertops and the blue and white glass backsplash make a striking design. Side by side refrigerator and freezer were given a built-in look with a custom cabinet installation. A second sink and work space serves as both a food preparation area and an open bar. Norwalk Kitchen - This kitchen was updated except that the original cabinets were retained. Black Galaxy granite was used on the counters and Golden Crystal granite on the island. Tumbled travertine was used on the backsplash and in the diamond design over the new gas cook top. New stainless steel appliances were installed. Slide out cook top vent, over cabinet and under cabinet lighting. And scraped wood floors were sanded down smooth. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 5
Vinecrest 1 Kitchen - This kitchen was gutted and completely renovated in a unique contemporary style. Custom wood floors consisting of 4 ft by 4 ft engineered oak panels with a mahogany /ebony stain flow from the den and dining areas into the kitchen. Kitchen has maple cabinets, Marron Antique granite, and a custom designed fused glass backsplash. High end appliances and fixtures were installed, including 48-inch Viking range and 42-inch Viking built-in refrigerator, and including a large built in microwave oven. Vinecrest 2 Kitchen - This kitchen was reconfigured and opened up to the living den. Some cabinets were replaced with custom cabinets built in the same style as the existing cabinets, including a tall cabinet with deep pullout shelves and built in microwave. A standard depth refrigerator was installed in a recessed area so that it would have the look of a cabinet depth refrigerator but would cost less and provide more storage. A granite bar top was installed to match the existing granite. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 7
Van Ness Kitchen - This kitchen was completely remodeled and expanded to include the water heater closet, and a new tankless water heater was installed in the attic. Gorgeous limestone 9x18 tile floors were installed. Beautiful maple cabinets were installed including a custom built island that was designed to maximize the usable space, with white Caesarstone countertops. New appliances were installed. Also, new Marvin window, glass blocks, and glass tile backsplash. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 8
Manana Kitchen - This small kitchen was completely remodeled and expanded into the living room about two feet with an arched opening, and the water heater was relocated to provide space for a built-in refrigerator and pantry. Large niches were also built in the new wall between the kitchen and the living room. Hardwoods were installed in the kitchen to match the floors in the rest of the house. Granite tiles were used on the countertops and backsplash, and new lighting and appliances were installed, including rail lighting. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 9
Royal Lane Kitchen This kitchen was expanded to incorporate a small adjacent room. Existing cabinets were retained. New cabinets, a large L-shaped island with breakfast bar, and refrigerator cabinet and pantry (not visible in this picture) were added. Mahogany cabinets were sanded now and stained. Cabinets in the breakfast were refinished to match. Three slabs of beautiful Viara granite were used for the countertops. New wood floors, lots of recessed lighting and Thermador and Kitchenaid appliances installed. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 10
Valley Ridge Kitchen This small kitchen was gutted and expanded. The water heater and washer dryer closet were moved enabling the larger kitchen. New maple cabinets with full overlay doors were installed, along with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A second sink was installed in peninsula between kitchen and den. New wood floors were also installed in place of vinyl floors. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 11
Rosser 1 Kitchen - This kitchen was reconfigured and updated. Some of the original cabinets were retained, plus a 48-inch built-in refrigerator cabinet and two pantry cabinets were custom built to match. A built-in microwave was installed above one of two panty areas with large pull out drawers. Countertops are granite and backsplash is tumbled travertine. A bar height counter was built to provide convenient serving in the sunroom. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 12
Rosser 2 Kitchen - In this kitchen update, some of the cabinets were retained, refaced and painted, and others were replaced with custom cabinets built to match. Everything else in the kitchen is new with granite countertops, tumbled marble backsplash, new stainless steel appliances, and porcelain tile floors. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 13
Barrywood Kitchen With this kitchen update, the original cabinets were retained and dry brushed. An island was built with trim and dry brush finish to complement the existing cabinets, but also in a darker color. A built-in refrigerator cabinet and island were added and also dry brushed. Counters and island have granite tops. Hardwood floors were installed and new recessed lighting was installed above counters. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 14
Prescott Kitchen This small kitchen in a Highland Park duplex was gutted and redone with new cabinets, appliances, and floors. A small island with an overhang was added between the kitchen and dining room to provide additional storage and serving area. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 15
Glenridge Kitchen - This kitchen was updated with a black and white design scheme that customer wanted. Original cabinets were retained sanded down, repainted and installed with new hinges. Utility closet was relocated elsewhere to make more room. Cork floors, Absolute Black granite countertops and backsplash, new recessed lighting, under cabinet lights, and new appliances and fixtures were installed. Prepared by Rogers Residential Company 16
