We are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to the Royal Australian Navy. MTA is an ISO-9001 quality endorsed company, as well as a Defence Recognised Supplier and proud members of both the Australian Business Defence Unit and the Australian Industry & Defence Network. MTA has Office and Workshop Facilities at Artarmon on Sydney s North Side within 10 minutes transit time to and from Garden Island Dockyard, and also in Henderson WA. We offer a dynamic team of 45 highly experienced Technicians and Electricians and strive to deliver value for money results to our customers. The majority of our work is undertaken at Sydney s Garden Island Dockyard and Western Australia Fleet Base West, CUF and BAE Henderson Dockyard. Our professional and reliable team deliver on a service promise of the highest quality work within the industry. We also have the capability to mobilise to any location in Australia or overseas. This has been demonstrated with successful deployments to Thailand, Darwin, Newcastle, and Williamstown Dockyards.

Subcontracting to BAE Systems Australia, MTA are currently executing the electrical installations of HMA Ships Warramunga, Ballarat and Parramatta ASMD upgrades at the BAE Systems Dockyard in Henderson WA. This large and innovative project involves the installation of all new cables, terminations of MIL Spec Connectors, both Fibre Optic and Copper. Marine Technicians Australia completed the electrical phase of the LHD LBTS (Land Based Test Site) in Williamstown Dockyard, and more recently completed the installation of Electronic Systems and Communications Equipment into the CTTF LHD Training Facility at Mascot in Sydney. Marine Technicians Australia is currently performing work for SAAB Systems in Thailand conducting Waveguide and Fibre Optic fit-outs for the 9LV SAT combat systems on various Royal Thai Navy Platforms. Formal training and experience enables MTA to provide world s best-

practice for the termination of MIL Specification fibre-optic and electrical cabling. Five of our technicians have completed MIL Specification Fibre Optic training in the United States of America. Separate to trade qualifications, MTA provides further training that allows our people to work safely in a shipboard environment. This includes formal certifications for senior first-aid, working at heights and within confined spaces. All MTA personnel have undertaken the Australian construction induction training and hold industry standard white cards. MTA is fully conversant and compliant with the Royal Australian Navy s policies for hot-works, RADHAZ, man-aloft, isolations and confined space works. Tooling and Test Equipment Marine Technicians Australia maintains a vast array of state-of-the-art-tooling and test equipment specific for the Defence Maritime Industry. Our companies strict calibration regime ensures each tool and piece of test-equipment is certified prior to use. Traceable calibration certificates are always provided to the customer for each specific task that is undertaken.
