Subcontracting to BAE Systems Australia, MTA are currently executing the electrical installations of HMA Ships Warramunga, Ballarat and Parramatta ASMD upgrades at the BAE Systems Dockyard in Henderson WA. This large and innovative project involves the installation of all new cables, terminations of MIL Spec Connectors, both Fibre Optic and Copper. Marine Technicians Australia completed the electrical phase of the LHD LBTS (Land Based Test Site) in Williamstown Dockyard, and more recently completed the installation of Electronic Systems and Communications Equipment into the CTTF LHD Training Facility at Mascot in Sydney. All MTA personnel have undertaken the Australian construction induction training and hold industry standard white cards. MTA is fully conversant and compliant with the Royal Australian Navy s policies for hot-works, RADHAZ, man-aloft, isolations and confined space works.
