Clerkenwell Design Week 2016 Clerkenwell design week is an industry week-long event where manufacturers can showcase new products and insights to the industry through a series of showroom events, exhibitions and special installations that take place across Clerkenwell. Clerkenwell Design Week Trends One of the growing trends we saw at this years CDW was the use of integrated work electrics. With flexible and agile working being a key feature of the workplace right now integrated work electrics allows you to work in areas that would not normally be accessible allowing individuals to work more flexibly Add integrated electrics into soft seating and waiting areas and it provides work-ready breakout areas for meetings and individual working. 4
Clerkenwell Design Week Trends One of the trends that we noticed most at CDW this year was the increase in the use of wooden legs instead of steel. This was seen throughout the festival with wooden legs being used on items such as coffee tables, breakout tables, café tables, lounge and soft seating. It gives a domestic style to the workplace which has a softer and more homely feel homification in the workplace is here to stay! 5
