Based on product design and requirements the type and quantity of spare parts, basic installation tools/supplies, user and technician maintenance manuals must be determined and agreed upon in advance of order placement. Thermostat must be designed so that it cannot be adjusted by the user. A means for adjustment by a technician is acceptable provided the device is protected from user interference (e.g. by location within the appliance cabinet). SOLAR POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS In addition to complying with the requirements; the parameters that shall be considered for evaluation of the solar systems include, but are not limited to consideration of: Provision of quick assembly of interconnection cables to cabinet/array-this shall be plug and play as a standard feature) Reference period insolation- 3.5 KWh/m 2 /24hours- This irradiance to be used as the default value for entry for the annual monthly average while sizing a system Documentation of the system sizing approach shall be submitted together with the bids for evaluation.
