To preven fire, noe he following CAUTION When you use a MR-J4 muli-axis servo amplifier, connecing an encoder for differen axis o he CN2A, CN2B, or CN2C connecor m cause a fire. 3. To preven injury, noe he following CAUTION The servo amplifier hea sink, regeneraive resisor, servo moor, ec. m be ho while power is on or for some ime afer power-off. Take safey measures, e.g. provide covers, o preven accidenal conac of hands and pars (cables, ec.) wih hem. 4. Addiional insrucions The following insrucions should also be fully noed. Incorrec handling m cause a malfuncion, injury, elecric shock, ec. (1) Wiring CAUTION Wire he equipmen correcly and securely. Oherwise, he servo moor m operae unexpecedly. To avoid a malfuncion, connec he wires o he correc phase erminals (U, V, and W) of he servo amplifier and servo moor. Connec he servo amplifier power oupu (U, V, and W) o he servo moor power inpu (U, V, and W) direcly. Do no le a magneic conacor, ec. inervene. Oherwise, i m cause a malfuncion. (2) Usage CAUTION Before reseing an alarm, make sure ha he run signal of he servo amplifier is off in order o preven a sudden resar. Oherwise, i m cause an acciden. Use he servo amplifier wih he specified servo moor. (3) Correcive acions CAUTION When i is assumed ha a hazardous condiion m occur due o a power failure or produc malfuncion, use a servo moor wih an elecromagneic brake or exernal brake o preven he condiion. Configure an elecromagneic brake circui so ha i is acivaed also by an exernal EMG sop swich. Conacs mus be opened when CALM (Common malfuncion) or MBR (Elecromagneic brake inerlock) urns off. 1.2 Remedies for alarms CAUTION When any alarm has occurred, eliminae is cause, ensure safey, and deacivae he alarm before resaring operaion. Oherwise, i m cause injury. As soon as an alarm occurs, make he Servo-off saus and inerrup he main circui power. POINT When any of he following alarms has occurred, do no cycle he power repeaedly o resar. Doing so will cause a malfuncion of he servo amplifier and he servo moor. Remove is cause and allow abou 30 minues for cooling before resuming he operaion. Use MR Configuraor2 o refer o a facor of alarm occurrence. 1-5

The volage of he main circui power supply has dropped. 10.1 Volage drop in he conrol power 10.2 Volage drop in he main circui power (1) The connecion of he conrol circui power supply connecor (CNP2) has a failure. (3) An insananeous power failure has occurred for longer ime han he specified ime. The ime will be 60 ms when [Pr. PA20] is "_ 0 ". The ime will be he value se in [Pr. PF25] when [Pr. PA20] is "_ 1 ". (1) The main circui power supply connecor (CNP1) was disconneced. (2) The volage of he main circui power supply is low. (3) The alarm has occurred during acceleraion.
