[ ] The Convention Center is the perfect place to host as many as 300 guests, thanks to ideally suited rooms and the facility s location at the heart of the grounds. When weather permits, our guests enjoy the balcony with a nice view of the grounds. The catering is good, and our special wishes regarding traditional Thuringian fare are always met to our satisfaction. Deutsche Messe provides great, highly responsive service before and during the event. It's because we and our guests are all so satisfied with the organization and atmosphere at the Convention Center that we ve been holding our Thuringian reception there for many years. The prime location at the exhibition center helps us in terms of organization, and makes it easier for journalists to stop by. We also value the great service and flexibility of the event team for example with respect to room set-up in line with our specific requirements, as well as last-minute requests, rapid rearrangement between events and individualized signage. Perfect conference facilities, right on site A unique vibe, exceptional architecture and state-of-the-art conference equipment geared for high-impact events We offer: Three conference areas for various types of events easy to reach on foot and in some cases with direct access to an adjoining exhibition hall Meeting rooms (up to 30 m²), conference rooms (up to 150 m², with movable partitions), rooms for receptions and meetings (200 600 m², or even as much as 1,200 m²). All three conference areas feature foyers for catering and registration purposes.

Room 1 for large-scale events This space with its generous size and unique architecture is particularly well suited for big events for up to 1,140 guests. Room 2 for conferences and concerts This is the only room at the Convention Center with fixed, theater-style seating for 718, plus a stage with backstage area. Room 3 for press conferences and receptions Room 3 can be partitioned as required, with space for 551 or 271 people seated in rows or at tables. Breakout rooms for workshops & meetings For workshops, meetings and short breaks, smaller rooms of 30 to 210 m² are a good choice. Foyer This 2,000 m² open space is flooded with natural light and serves as a central hub for access to all Conference Center rooms. As a multifunctional space, it can be used for anything from exhibits to parties.

Room 1 Modern & flooded with light With its generous size and unique architecture, the Room 1 auditorium is particularly well suited to large-scale events of any kind. Size: 1,260 m² (24.4 x 43.8 m) Capacity: 1,140 Plenty of natural light with floor-length window wall Room darkening system for slide or film projection, etc. Large, permanently installed stage Interpreter booths at the rear (at ceiling height) Is 1,260 m² too large for your event? No problem: The room can be divided into two acoustically separate halves of 630 m² each, for audiences of up to 580 persons.
Room 2 Stately & functional With its theater seating and permanent stage complete with backstage areas, this is the ideal space for conventions, press conferences and plenary sessions. Size: 971 m² Capacity: 838 Fixed rows of seating for 718 838 Amphitheater-style seating Permanently installed stage with backstage area Interpreter booths at the rear (at ceiling height) The room's ceiling-to-floor windows create a bright and positive atmosphere, and the room can be darkened to show slides or films within a matter of seconds. Hall 19 conference area Attractive rooms for every need Various multipurpose meeting rooms and a large room equipped with booths for production staff and interpreters let you host audiences of 8 to 800 in style. New York for large events The room's modern architecture and lofty height of 8.10 m are designed to impress. Too much space for your event? New York can be divided with a mobile, soundproof partition. Casablanca for conferences The Casablanca room provides the perfect setting for ground-floor meetings. If you need plenty of room you can use the entire space or you can choose to partition it. Sao Paulo Another room on the upper floor that can be adapted to every need, featuring natural daylight, a high ceiling (3.55 m) and the possibility of partitioning the room. Sydney The Sydney room is on the upper floor. It offers natural light and a mobile partition, and can be set up for workshops, smaller conferences or meetings. Tokyo The Tokyo room is directly adjacent to Sydney. This room offers natural light and is perfect for small conferences and meetings or as a VIP area, performers dressing room, etc.

The New York room Upscale & exclusive Along its entire length, the 761 m² New York is flanked by a spacious foyer with natural lighting and a pleasant view of the plaza below. Hall 19 foyers Inviting & flooded with light Airy, open spaces with an impressive glass façade to give your event an exclusive touch. The conference are of Hall 19 boasts two bright and airy foyers that are perfect for catering, especially in connection with conferences held in the adjacent conference rooms. The foyer on the ground floor serves the Casablanca room (photo below), and also as a lobby for everyone passing through on their way to the Five Continents restaurant. The upper-level foyer flanks the New York room (photos above) and can accommodate up to 250 guests at bar tables.

Europa for large-scale events With 339 m² of space, seating for 158 372 people and an upscale design, Europa is a perfect setting for company parties, conferences, exhibitions and more. London/Madrid for conferences Two rooms offering 52 m² and 61 m², respectively, or one large room of 117 m², and plenty of natural light ideal for smaller conferences and events. Paris/Brüssel/Rom for full-fledged conferences or smaller events A large and stately space of 576 m² (for audiences of up to 605) or partitioned into three rooms ranging from 118 m² to 232 m².
