Paperbark Grove North An iconic Centennial Park location, Paperbark Grove is a spectacular avenue of 250 grand paperbark trees that were planted in c1900. The wedding ceremony site is at the northern end of the grove which offers level ground and plenty of shade. The grove is close to Paddington and Centennial Parklands Dining and offers direct access from Parkes Drive. CEREMONY LOCATIONS She-Oak Grove Invite your guests to this fairytale-like grove which is surrounded by majestic She-Oak trees that dapple shade across the grass beneath them. The wow factor is provided by a large fig tree with bowing branches that could provide the perfect frame for your ceremony. This elevated spot is close to Paddington and Centennial Parklands Dining and offers direct access from Hamilton Drive.
One More Shot This attractive pond is fringed with willow trees and gets its name from a former Park statue a larger than life hunter with a dog at his heels. The area provides grassy banks and a lovely mix of young and mature trees. The area benefits from direct access from Musgrave Avenue and plenty of shade. Rose Garden Rose Garden is the ideal location for an intimate outdoor wedding surrounded by flower beds and towering palm trees. This area was first planted in 1909 and has been a favoured location for floral exhibitions over the years. Rose Garden s floral displays are subject to seasonal variation. Please note that the maximum number of guests permitted at Rose Garden is 50. Column Garden In the heart of Centennial Park this iconic location offers grandeur and a beautiful backdrop. This popular garden area features flower beds, lawns and hedges and a magnificent sandstone column dating back to 1890. Column Garden s floral displays are subject to seasonal variation. Busbys Promontory In the heart of the Park, this area lies on the banks of Busbys. It features soaring palm trees, lawns, beautiful garden beds and a grand column. Between Willow & Duck From Grand Drive, you and your guests will enter through two impressive palm trees and down a natural aisle between Willow and Duck. This location is a secluded grassy area that features a huge fig tree and beautiful views across the ponds. This peaceful spot offers ample shade and is accessed from Grand Drive. Church Grounds Church Grounds is perfect for a large ceremony, with level lawns, elegant fig and paperbark trees, ponds in the foreground and a city skyline backdrop. The area is easily accessed from Parkes Drive and is walking distance to Centennial Parklands Dining. Between Lily & Duck Lily is a picture-perfect setting with an ornate white footbridge and a towering canopy of paperbark trees. The area is home to purple swamphens and black swans and offers an iconic Centennial Parklands location. The ceremony location is beneath the paperbarks between Lily and Duck s and offers ample shade and direct access from Parkes Drive. Pine Grove This wild and natural landscape feels fairytale-like with a dense cluster of pine trees that force sunlight to dance gracefully on the forest floor. YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION Centennial Parklands Dining Centennial Parklands Dining offers a stylish reception venue that s easily accessible from all of our ceremony locations. Your guests will enjoy unsurpassed views over rolling green lawns all year round, with large bi-folding windows opening onto charming outdoor terraces. The elegant heritage-listed Wine Room provides the perfect space for up to 200 seated guests or 500 cocktail-style. The venue can accommodate larger weddings, with the addition of a marquee. With prior arrangement, couples who have booked their reception at Centennial Parklands Dining have the option to use the venue for their ceremony in the case of wet-weather.
