INTERNAL SHUTTERS Boardwalk offers the complete range of internal shutters, from Sentosa Shutters for bathrooms and wet areas, through to our sophisticated timber shutters for those looking for a more traditional look. We present all our shutters evenly, and it will be your window sizes, design ideas and how you intend to use the shutters on a daily basis that will help determine the right product for you. For example, some of the materials are capable of wider spans than others. There are some materials better suited to wet areas, whilst other products in our range can be custom painted to suit existing decor. Selecting the right shutters is best decided in your home with one of our experienced sales staff and we offer an obligation free measure and quote service. All our internal shutters are custom manufactured and imported from well established suppliers using reputable material sources. Our Sentosa fauxwood shutters are extruded using a synthetic non toxic material and can be used in wet areas or throughout the home. To reduce the weight of the product and to provide added stability in the absence of a grain, aluminium louvre inserts are used in all panels. These blinds are guided smoothly through vertical tracks and can be left in any height position for greater flexibility. Ziptrak incorporates a patented spring-balanced system that eliminates the use of unsightly zips, cords, ropes or wires and makes operation almost effortless. The unique central lock system supplied as standard on all Boardwalk Ziptrak awnings allows the blinds to be held securely in the fully down position against windy conditions. The design also grips tightly in the vertical tracks to stop rattling in the wind. Boxed Screens Fully Welded Frames provide an enhanced appearance over traditional frameless screen systems, whilst providing added support and structure for larger areas. When used in conjunction with a welded gate, a more seamless transition across the products also allows for a neater finish. All frames are TIG welded, providing a robust and quality join that is stronger than the original material. The importance of this is apparent when used together with larger swinging gates, where other methods of frame joins or poor quality welds will quickly show their age. PEDESTRIAN GATES General Access and Pedestrian Gates Utilising Boxed Screens and Aero Screen products, our pedestrian gates can allow side access to a property or to secure a front yard. Quality is paramount, and Boardwalk uses trusted hardware and fixings to ensure longevity across all our products. All our gate frames are welded, which given the repeated open and close nature of a gate will provide a more stable gate than screw together gate systems. DRIVEWAY GATES Larger Access and Driveway Gates We specialise in gates for vehicles, boat & trailer, driveway and car park access in either manual or motorised systems. Depending on your requirements, our gates may be installed in either sliding or hinged configurations. All our gates are custom made to suit each application and feature welded frames. With upgraded posts, frames and hardware used as required our gate systems will suit extra wide situations as well as areas where increased usage may be a consideration. Sliding Hinged Gate Systems and Accessories HEAVY DUTY HINGES We use heavy duty Galvanised hinges when required. They are sandblasted, treated and powder coated to match posts/frames. JOCKEY WHEEL May be installed on wider manual gates to provide additional support and ease of operation. Motorisation Boardwalk proudly uses Mhouse motorised systems for all sliding and hinged gates. Manual gates can be motorised at a later date subject to a few changes at fabrication, so please advise us in writing (in advance) if you plan on adding a motor at a later date. Mhouse motors are Italian made, are low maintenance and offer hassle free operation. Our standard motors operate using 24 Volt system. (A 240 Volt power source is required to be made available by the client close to the motor location prior to installation.) The factors to consider in the selection of the right motorised system include the operating cycle of the gates, and the relationship between the airflow of the gate versus the wind loading on the motor. We have motors to cover all scenarios, and also offer a range of accessories including locks, safety sensors and keypad entry.
