General Specifications GS48C43Z01-00E-N AO-543-01 Annunciator Module GENERAL Figure 1 This module has two independent annunciator circuits. The circuits handle fault signals and operator actions (acknowledge, reset, etc.). AO-543-01 Annunciator Module Each circuit is connected to one indication light. Common outputs like an audible alarm are possible in combination with the KA-549 module. The module has a number of typical characteristics: Logic-1 or logic-0 fault signal input DC- and current pulse input Galvanically isolated inputs Various annunciator sequences possible (e.g. A, M, F2A, F3A) First-failure detection LED and lamp output Shift register circuit for connection to the communication system The fault input can be inverted depending on de INVERSE strapping. When using the current pulse input, a single pulse can be filtered out by using the build-in time delay. The input signal is used to set two memory circuits. The FIRST (failure) MEMORY and the ALARM MEMORY. Depending on the required sequence, the reset inputs can be connected to acknowledge and reset push buttons. Flash inputs determine, in combination with the memory status, the status of the output light/led. For first failure detection, AO-543 annunciator circuits are combined in groups by linking their first-failure input/output. The way first-failure signals are handled, depends on the required annunciator sequence. The AO-543 module is used in combination with the KA-549 module. The KA-549 contains the flash signal source and it can handle the (common) claxon pulse signal. Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V.
