Posts Made from 316 marine-grade Stainless Steel, SmartScreen posts are built to last and can withstand rigorous commercial use. SmartScreens come in three standard Ranges - 97, 160 and 220. The smaller posts can be supplied with either bases or ground sockets, while the taller posts are installed in ground sockets only, to ensure stability. Bases Range 97 SmartScreens can either be supplied on bases, installed in ground sockets, or a combination of the two. Ground Sockets All our SmartScreens can be installed in ground sockets, providing a clean finish to any alfresco area and ensuring the space is maximised. While ground sockets make the SmartScreens feel permanent, all equipment can be removed and sockets covered over easily, should you require the space to be flexible. Ground sockets can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including in or along decking and up steps. 14
Safe & Secure When SmartScreens are likely to be removed frequently, special self-closing ground sockets can be installed. These come with a hinged lid which falls shut automatically when the post is removed, ensuring there are no trip hazards. The posts can also be locked in place with a simple tab and padlock, ensuring extra security. 15
Glass Screens
Glass Screens Our premium barrier system, Glass Screens create permanent, effective enclosure and definition to your alfresco area. We use 316 marine grade stainless steel and toughened safety glass for a durable system that lasts. Glass screens can also be up to 2.2m tall, providing effective shelter from wind and driven rain. 17
Heights Our glass screens come in three standard heights: 970mm 1600mm 2200mm Bespoke heights are also available on request. 18
Branding Glass screens are perfect for promoting a brand or establishment and, in many cases, are required to have some form of manifestation on them by local authorities. Vinyls are the most popular method of applying branding or a logo to glass screens, but the panels can also be tinted or engraved for a more permanent result. 19
Posts Our glass screens utilise our SmartScreen posts, which are made from 316marine-grade stainless steel to ensure superior quality and durability. Style As standard, we provide two styles of glass screen systems: Cap Clamp The Cap clamp system utilises bespoke spigots and clamps which stand the glass off from the posts and allow panels to be installed closer together for improved protection from wind. Fixed or Movable Wooden screens can be provided with posts on bases, allowing the system to be dismantled and removed at the end of the day, or fixed into ground sockets for a permanent solution. 24
Bases Wooden Screens utilise our standard SmartScreen posts and, as such, can be provided with a variety of base-weights suitable for both interior and exterior use. For particularly windy environments, our 40cm diameter bases provide even more stability. Fixtures Wooden panels can be attached to the posts in a range of different ways. Our standard cap or D clamp fixtures ensure a rigid, permanent barrier system while a simple hook and eyelet can be used when panels need to be removed regularly. Terrace Screens
Terrace Screens Terrace Screens consist of an aluminium frame and rigid panels made from a variety of materials including metal, wood and glass. They come in a variety of styles and heights and can be fully portable, allowing for an alfresco area which is well sheltered and robust, but can be dismantled at the end of the day. 30
Panels Terrace Screen panels come in a wide variety of standard heights, from 850mm up t0 2000mm tall for maximum protection. Custom sizes are also available upon request. While terrace screens always come with an aluminium frame, the panels they house can be made out of a variety of different materials. Wooden panels offer even more unique branding opportunities as logos can be whittled or burned into the wood. 34
Fixed or Portable Terrace Screens can be fully portable, allowing the system to be removed and stored at the end of the day, should this be desired. Wide, flat feet keep the screens stable while minimising any trip hazards. These feet can also be secured to the ground should more stability be required. If the panels do not need to be removed, then Terrace Screens can be installed in ground sockets for a more permanent solution. 35
