Grant Activity - Outreach and Project Development District Administrator, Shoreland Coordinator and Shoreland Technician will present the project and funding opportunities at 2 annual COLA summer meetings (with an average minimum of 24 lake associations represented), showcase promotional materials and project examples at the Becker County Fair and water-related events sponsored by Becker County, The City of Detroit Lakes, area watershed districts and lake associations. Targeted mailings will be sent to +/- 450 Residents and property owners critical areas of the lakes addressed by the project. Project development funds will also be utilized for initial site visits, feasibility determinations and preliminary planning, for projects prior to contracting.
