4 GENERAL INFORMATION Read this user manual with care and attention as it provides you information for safe use and servicing. This user manual will teach you the use and fundamental functions your Nayati Electric Teppanyaki and also the prescriptions to guarantee you and your staff safety. Following the instructions it will be a benefit for a long and pleasant use of your Teppanyaki. Everyone authorized to use this appliance has to read this user manual before starting. This user manual has to be kept near the Teppanyaki for future use. In case the unit will be transferred elsewhere or sold, make sure the user manual will accompany the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki so the new user(s) can read about its functions and relevant information. In case of any doubt, please contact your nearest dealer or contact NAYATI.
5 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Improper installation, maintenance, cleaning or modifications to the unit could lead to injury or death of the operator and damage the unit. Read the user manual carefully before using the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki. Nayati Electric Teppanyaki may be used for the preparation of food only. To avoid damage to this appliance or accidents, the operator must instruct staff regularly. The Teppanyaki may be used by skilled staff only. Regular training (Safety and maintenance) for operating staff is highly recommended, described as above. The Nayati Electric Teppanyaki may never - Be used in a toxic area or one at risk of explosion. - Be used in wet conditions, rain, water leakage, etc. - Be used for heating up flammable products like oil, fat, clothes, towels, etc. - Be used for drying of animals (living) clothes, towels, etc. - Be used to heat up non-food products except approved accessories. Electric Shock Maintenance or repair may only be done by authorized and qualified electrician/technical engineers. Before opening the electrical box in the right column, be sure that the unit has been switched off from the power supply and is disconnected.
6 INSTALLATION Before unpacking the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki, makes sure that the area where the Teppanyaki has to be placed is cleared of any obstacles. And that the electrical supply is placed on the right position. Unpack the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki and remove all packing material and protective coating right away. Check if all parts have been unpacked. Place the Teppanyaki at the final location and ensure that it will be placed in level. Connect the electricity to the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki (3N AC 400V ; 50/60Hz; 7kW). To connect electricity, you have to remove the front panel of the right column. Before switching on: - Ensure that the connection, electricity has been done correctly and that the Teppanyaki is placed in level. - Be sure that all flammable material is at a safe distance and immediate room is ventilated. Warning : installation of power may only be done by authorized electricians or technical engineers. Injury Risk Avoid installation of the Teppanyaki next to cooking appliances like fat fryers. It is likely that water will spray into the fat and may injure the operator. It is advisable to keep a safe distance between Teppanyaki and other kitchen equipment like fat fryers.

8 INSTRUCTION FOR USE 1. Turn right the thermostat control knob to switch on the appliance. The green pilot light will be on to indicate that the appliance is ready to use. 2. To increase cooking temperature, turn right the thermostat control knob again. Range of cooking temperature is 50-300ºC. The yellow pilot light will be on to indicate that the heating process is working. 3. If the temperature is reached, the yellow pilot light will be OFF. And will be ON again, if the temperature is less as the setted temperature. 4. To switch off the appliance, turn the thermostat control knob to zero position.
9 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Caution : To maintain the high quality level of the stainless steel of your Teppanyaki, to achieve the hygienic conditions required for every day work in the Nayati Electric Teppanyaki and to avoid operational malfunctions, please clean your Teppanyaki on a daily basis when work is finished. To guarantee functionally and durability of your Teppanyaki you have to clean the appliance daily. Before cleaning and maintenance, please disconnect power supply. Use Nayati cleaning materials only. During Cleaning and maintenance it is advisable to wear protective clothes and glasses. When the unit will not be used for a longer time, please disconnect the electrical power. In case of a failure, do not open the unit yourself. Only authorized electricians are allowed to open the unit to check and repair.
