Performance on demand Eliminate low mains water pressure problems with flomate Stuart Turner s range of flomate mains boost pumps provide the solution to the increasingly common problem of low mains water pressure. Boosting water performance without a break tank In many homes, the traditional domestic system using a hot water immersion heater and central heating boiler fed by a cold water tank has been replaced by instantaneous water heating systems such as a combi-boiler. This system type cannot offer water pressure generated by the height of the traditional loft installed cold water tank and as a result can suffer from problems with low water pressure at taps, electric showers and other water using appliances. Flomate provides a simple, cost effective and patented solution to boost low or intermittent mains water pressure. Pumping water directly from the mains supply Flomate uses an extremely reliable flow regulator to ensure flow does not exceed the 12 litre per minute UK water regulation limits. However, if mains water pressure increases at times of low water demand and exceeds the minimum guaranteed by the water supplier, Flomate s patented bypass feature ensures that the resulting increase in water flow will bypass the pump head and be supplied to the property without being restricted. A range of solutions for a range of properties Flomate will boost incoming mains water pressure by an additional 1.5 bar at 12 litres per minute. It's compact design allows it to sit discreetly under the kitichen sink making it ideal for properties where space is limited. However, in larger properties with higher occupancy the demand for water may exceed the 12 litre per minute limit supplied by the standard Flomate solution. Flomate mains boost extra combines all the features of the standard Flomate pump but supplements this with additional water storage provided by a pressure vessel. By supplementing the water pressure boosting performance of the Flomate pump with the supply from the pressurised water cylinder, Flomate extra offers the householder the ability to store water at pressure to meet peak demand. Flomate mains boost extra offer solutions for a range of property sizes and are available with water storage pressure vessels ranging in size from 60 litres to 300 litres. Smaller capacity Flomate mains boost extra systems will sit neatly within a standard 500mm kitchen base unit and are suitable for properties with more than one bathroom. They will deliver up to 16 litres per minute at up to 3 bar pressure to multiple outlets within a property. Larger capacity systems can be installed within a 600mm larder style kitchen unit and are suitable for larger properties with multiple bathrooms or en-suites. These Flomate units will deliver up to an impressive 30 litres per minute.
