INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE CORDLESS HEATPOD Dear customer, DREAMLAND thanks you for having purchased this product. We are certain you will appreciate the quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and manufactured with customer satisfaction in mind. This instruction manual has been drawn up in compliance with the European Standard EN 62079. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS KEEP FOR FUTURE USE IMPORTANT! Instructions and warnings for safe use Before using the Heat Pod, carefully read the instructions and in particular the safety warnings, which must be complied with. Keep this manual and illustrative guide with the appliance for future consultation. Should you pass the appliance on to another user, make sure to also include this documentation. NOTE: should certain parts of this booklet be difficult to understand or should doubts arise, contact the company before using the product, at the address indicated on the last page. SAFETY WARNINGS After unpacking, make sure that the heat pod is intact with no visible signs of damage caused during transport. Should you have any doubts, please do not use the appliance and contact the authorised service centre. Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children - risk of suffocation! Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage data indicated on the specification data correspond to those of the mains voltage. The specification data are found on the appliance. This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a heatpod for personal use. Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Always use the Heat Pod inside the cover provided, as it heats up to 55 ⁰C, and could cause a burn if placed on direct skin. The appliance is not to be used by people who are insensitive to heat or vulnerable and unable to react to overheating. 2

DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use. If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Any repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre. If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks. Inspect the appliance frequently to check for signs of wear and damage. If such signs are found or if the appliance has been used incorrectly, contact an authorised technical assistance centre before continuing to use it. WARNING NOT suitable for children under the age of 3. Children under the age of 3 must not use the appliance as they are unable to react in the event of overheating. DO NOT use the appliance if it is wet. DO NOT use the appliance to keep animals warm. The heat pod can be used to warm the bed, but it must be removed before going to sleep. PRODUCT OVERVIEW AND FEATURES USING THE HEAT POD Remove the heat pod from packaging, and unzip the cover. Connect the charger (5) to the heatpod connector (4). Plug into the mains (see diagram B). Switch the heat Pod on to I (3). The led lights up (6). The Heat Pod will charge for 5 minutes, and will automatically stop charging and begin to heat up. Place the heat Pod on a level surface whilst charging. The LED will go off once charged and is ready to use. Disconnect the charger (5) and unplug from mains. Zip up the cover. The heat pod will start to heat up. Always place inside cover before use (C). When not in use, you can store the charger inside the top section of the cover (8). When the LED goes off, the ceramic inside the heat pod begins to transmit heat and the temperature of the heatpod will increase, within 5 minutes warmth will be felt. The heat pod reaches a maximum temperature of 55 C and provides long lasting heat for over 4

2 hours, it will take around 4 hours to return back to room temperature. When the heat pod has been charged, it must return back to room temperature before you can charge it up again. TO DISCONNECT Select the off position and disconnect the plug from the socket. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ATTENTION! Disconnect the power cord (1) from the mains and the Heat Pod before performing any type of maintenance. Let the appliance cool down. Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic parts. Dry thoroughly since moisture damages the internal parts of the appliance. Do NOT use abrasive products as they would damage the surface. The fabric cover is washable. CARE INFORMATION FOR THE FABRIC COVER Wash in the washing machine at 40 C Tumble-dry at less than 40 C Do not dry-clean Do not iron Do not bleach Tumble dry on low settings AFTER SALE ASSISTANCE 1. The warranty is binding if it is accompanied by a valid receipt of payment. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance is used solely for domestic purposes in accordance with the instructions provided that is not connected to an unsuitable electricity supply, dismantled, interfered with in any way damaged, through misuse, fair wear and tear. Under this guarantee we undertake to repair or replace free of charge any parts found to be defective. PLEASE NOTE, THE COST OF

A SAFETY INSPECTION IS NOT COVERED BY THIS GUARANTEE. A CHARGE WILL BE MADE IN RESPECT OF ANY PRODUCT RETURNED UNDER THIS GUARANTEE, WHERE NO FAULT IS FOUND. This guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and in particular we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Nothing in this guarantee or the instructions relating to the product excludes, restricts or otherwise affects your statutory rights. In line with our policy of continuous development, we reserve the right to change this product, packaging and documentation without notice. If a defect appears and after checking that the heat pod is being used properly in accordance with the instructions, return it with a valid proof of purchase, as soon as possible to the manufacturer s Service Centre.
