THE PRINCIPLES OF INSET Inset is a sleek and sophisticated approach to designing the ultimate, modern, handle-less kitchen and combines high quality cabinet specification with an extensive collection of doors in a variety of colours, materials and finishes. By combining stylish aluminium trims, in a stainless steel finish, with a discreet, factory-fitted Inset handle, your Inset kitchen will provide the minimalist look that you desire with the full functionality you expect. The discreet, almost invisible, Inset handle, is fitted to the reverse of the door and is located in the centre on base, wall and drawer units, and at the side on larder and appliance housings. This makes opening doors easier compared with other handle-less systems. Inset is perfect for designing open-plan, modern living spaces with the freedom to mix colours, finishes and textures with an extensive range of doors and units available. 3

INSET CABINET SPECIFICATION The foundation of every Mackintosh Inset kitchen is a superior-quality cabinet. From the hinges to the drawer box, every specification has been carefully developed to withstand the rigours of modern-day living. The result is a kitchen that looks stunning, functions beautifully and lasts for decades. GRASS Scala drawers featuring solid base in a stylish matt anthracite colour. CABINET FEATURES Cabinets are supplied rigid and constructed using traditional glue and dowel techniques. This ensures there are no unsightly fixings or redundant drill holes. Inset cabinets are supplied with all doors, drawers, wirework and shelves pre-fitted, ensuring a superior cabinet, ready to be installed immediately. All exposed edges, even the edges you don t see once installed, are protected with durable 1.3mm PVC edging. Not only does this provide a better finish, more importantly it protects the cabinet against moisture ingress. GRASS Scala drawers are available with rails as standard, or with solid smoked glass sides, available at no extra charge. High quality, GRASS Scala drawers are supplied as standard on all Inset drawer units. This modern designed drawer box features smooth, full-extension drawer runners, with a progressive damping softclose action, ensuring a fluid, silent close every time. Pan drawers are supplied with either a square rail (as standard) or with solid, smoked glass sides, available at no extra cost.
