Ultrasonic Flowmeters The Daniel Ultrasonic Meter is a natural gas flow measurement device that offers highly accurate flow measurement without the compromises associated with conventional gas flow measurement technologies. Continuously accurate measurement over an extended operating range with no pressure loss while meeting the requirements of AGA-9 for custody transfer makes the Daniel Ultrasonic Meter clearly the best choice for gas measurement and custody transfer. The extractable T-Slot Transducers can be easily and safely removed without interrupting line flow making them the most advanced and efficient ultrasonic transducer in the gas industry. The Diagnostic Frequency Interface expands the diagnostic capabilities of the Mark II Digital Electronics module by providing both a validity contact closure and a dedicated diagnostic serial port. Daniel s Customer Ultrasonic Interface, software package allows the user to interface with the meter via laptop computer. SeniorSonic TM Daniel's SeniorSonic Meter is the premier ultrasonic meter in terms of accuracy, repeatability and superior low-flow capabilities. Differential Products Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting This fitting provides a fast, safe and extremely simple method of changing orifice plates under pressure without interrupting line flow. It eliminates costly by-passes, valves and other fittings required with conventional orifice flange installations. Meter Tubes A meter tube is critical to proper measurement and Daniel provides the entire package not just the fitting. Long recognized as the premier product providing the most value in the gas measurement industry, Daniel's "instrument quality" meter tubes are more than just fabricated pipe. Available in two and three section designs with Daniel Gas Flow Conditioning Plates optional. Available in 2" through 48" line sizes, up to ANSI 2500 flanged, and 10,000 psi (68958 kpa). Meets all requirements and recommendations for accurate flow measurement of gas and liquid, including AGA 14.3 requirements without compromise; full beta range; no uncertainty need be added to published values. AGA 14.3 retrofit available. "Soft Seal" option available for ultra-tight sealing of gas products such as ethylene. Daniel Junior Orifice Fittings Safety, simplicity and ease of operation make Daniel Junior Orifice Fittings a popular choice for reliable measurement at large volume meter stations for line sizes 10 and up. The Junior is a single chamber fitting, engineered and manufactured to make orifice plate changing quick and easy at installations where line movement from flange-spreading is undesirable. Daniel Simplex Orifice Plate Holders Simplex Orifice Plate Holders are single-chamber fittings which use universal size orifice plates and sealing units. These fittings allow you to remove or insert the orifice plate quickly and economically. Since Simplex fittings use one piece bodies, there are no rusted stud bolts and nuts to remove, no flanges to spread apart and no line strain. Orifice Plates Precision made from the finest materials, Daniel's orifice plates undergo stringent quality testing to assure the most exacting specifications in the industry. Line Sizes 1/2" to 30". Most common sizes are in stock ready for immediate delivery. Daniel Profiler TM Flow Conditioning Plate The Daniel Profiler Flow Conditioning Plate when installed in a meter tube produces a fully developed flow profile downstream of flow obstructions. Use of this unit allows shortened upstream straight pipe lengths of 17 diameters. Beta ratio limit is.67 as with the tube bundle. Available in flange mounted model only. Also available in RTJ style on request.the Daniel Profiler Flow Conditioning Plate has been tested and shown to be in full compliance with the requirements of AGA 14.3.

Daniel Gas Turbine Meters Coriolis Flowmeters Turbine meters are highly accurate and repeatable flowmeters that provide optimum efficiency in natural gas applications. Due to their low cost of installation and maintenance, these meters offer viable solutions for today's metering requirements. They have fewer moving parts based on a patented electronic design. In combination with Daniel s totalizing and computing equipment, the gas turbine meter becomes the heart of gas measurement systems for rangeability and high accuracy applications. Turbo 2500 Series The Daniel 2500 Flow Computer is the reliable, accurate workhorse of the flow measurement industry. This microcomputer uses two sets of software in its real time multi-tasking operation system to provide basic calculations required for accurate flow measurement. Reliable sample composition is critical in custody transfer applications, including energy (heating value/btu/cv) and gas quality (trace H2S, Hydrocarbon dew-point, CO2, O2, etc). On a 20 MMSCF/day pipeline, just a 1 BTU/SCF error (.1%) would result in over $21,000/yr in lost and unaccounted gas (assuming $3/dekatherm).
