Places a multitude of functions at your fingertips EXA PH Intelligent ph Converter (Model PH400G) The system in the EXA PH series an intelligent converter now makes its debut. This design from Yokogawa responds to a multiplicity of needs and supports applications across a board range of fields. For reliable ph measurement, you can depend on the PH400G. Three security levels for ph converter operation Operation level: For routine inspection and maintenance Setting level: For parameter setup Service level: For operating conditions setup phx User-configurable contact outputs for superior costperformance High- and low-limit contact outputs enable even proportional control to be implemented with no additional instruments. Built-in cleaning timer function Built-in cleaning timer eliminates the need for separate timers. The design permits routine operation with the cover closed The Operation level operations (routine inspection and maintenance) can be done without opening the cover; you press keys built into the cover itself. Interactive operation Operations are executed simply by selecting Yes or No in response to the messages on the large-format display. One-touch automatic calibration Calibration is done with one touch of a key after inserting the sensor in the calibration solution. Measurement status visible at a glance of the display Process information (ph, temperature), and ph meter operating status can be seen at a glance.
Demonstrates its true worth in system System configurations PH400G intelligent ph converter can handle a wide range of ph measurement tasks, from general measurement to highpurity water and fermentation applications. Their reliability systems from Yokogawa s more than 40 years of experience in ph measurement, enabling these systems to cope with a broad variety of process lines. This ph detector covers virtually and application and can be utilized commonly by all types, both submersion and flow-through, regardless of whether equipped with a cleaning system or not. Replaceable electrodes reduce maintenance cost Both the glass electrode and junction can be easily replaced without tools. Each can be replaced individually, for lowest maintenance cost. Junction Pt1000Ω RTD temperature sensor The temperature sensor is a Pt1000Ω RTD which gives one-touch auto calibration even higher accuracy. It also permits conversion Glass electrode KCI filling-type ph detector PH8EFP
Realizes Highly Reliable and Accurate ph Measurement Chemical Cleaning ph Measuring System Automatic cleaning saves labor The automatic cleaning option line-up includes brush, jet, ultrasonic, and chemical cleaning, allowing you to select the best automatic cleaning system for your application. Brush cleaning Vigorous 600 rpm brush rotation. Jet cleaning Powerful jet blasts away deposits. Ultrasonic cleaning Frequency sweep system ensures effective cleaning. Chemical cleaning Immerses the sensor in a chemical cleaning agent to chemically dissolve and remove deposits. <PH8HS3> <PH8SM3> System configuration 2 Power supply unit* 3 ph Converter Control Box Cleaning Operation During measurement (1) Withdrawal of the ph detector from the process For wash, the ph detector and holder are withdrawn by the air cylinder and housed in the cleaning chamber with the bottom cover closed. Working parts are not in contact with the process, which ensures reliable long-term operation. These mechanical actions are automatically selfdiagnosed. Holder Chemical solution tank Bottom cover ph detector During wash/on standby (2) Chemical cleaning An approximately 100 ml of chemical (e.g., 5% hydrochloric acid) is dosed and sent to the cleaning chamber by air pressure. Forced air is directly used for air bubble cleaning. Air bubbling provides dramatically improved cleaning effectiveness that is the same as the one manual cleaning can do. 4 [Chemical cleaning unit] <Field> ph detector 1 *In ease of the ph400g 1 ph detector (PH8EFP) 2 Holder (PH8HS3) 3 ph Converter (PH400G) or ph Transmitter (PH202G) + Distributor(PH201G) 4 Chemical cleaning unit (PH8SM3) ph detector Cleaning chamber Chemical/ air inlet
Damaged glass membrane low liquid level ph 90% 90% response time EMF a 7 AConvenient self-diagnostic functions give strong support Electrode deterioration diagnostics Electrode deterioration is one of the prime concerns in ph Time measurement. The PH400G measures slope, asymmetry potential, and 90% response time at calibration, allowing objective monitoring of electrode deterioration. Sensor diagnostics during measurement Slope : c / b The sensor is continuously diagnosed for important problems such as reference electrode impedance and ph glass electrode damage. The FAIL alarm output notifies you immediately if a problem occurs, permitting ph measurement without fear of failure. Asymmetry potential : a b Asymmetry potential-slope c Inside the cover Operating the setting-level and service-level functions Pressing the (*) key enables the setting level and service level functions (used, respectively, to set startup parameters and change ph meter operating conditions.) User-set output range The output range can be set for spans as narrow as 1 ph, allowing you to select the span that exactly fits you application. Multifunctional design reduces cost The PH400G provides a wealth of contact outputs (control, hold, cleaning timer, and failure), a temperature output, and other features that reduce total system cost. These functions are set up with the cover open. Works with a variety of ph detectors In addition to the EXA PH detector, the PH400G can be used in combination with a PH detector or with detectors for fermentation applications. (With some limits, however, on performance and functions.) Consult Yokogawa concerning use with other detectors.
