Rescue swimmers, trained to identify last scene points of drowning victims and perform shallow water rescues, worked with local life guards and dive teams (VRFA and Renton) in a drowning scenario to test their skills. This deployment model is designed to have trained rescuers on scene quickly that can proactively evaluate, search and prepare the scene prior to SCUBA rescuers arriving. Pump Simulation Training: The VRFA, B Shift, participated in pump simulation training on Monday.
