Design The quality design of Miele induction hobs The clean design of Miele induction hobs is characterised by pure elegance and the wide variety of available finishes: Flat, onset frame Narrow, protruding frame Flush installation Bevelled glass edges Basalt grey décor LightPrint graphics Easy to use Pan/pan size recognition The cooking zone only heats up when a ferromagnetic pan is placed on it. The size of the pan is recognised within the printed area of the cooking zone. If the pan is removed from the cooking zone, the cooking zone immediately stops working. Extremely safe Extremely easy to use Energy-saving Automatic heat-up All of the cooking zones are equipped with the Automatic heat-up function, where the selected zone operates on full power to begin with, and then switches to the continued cooking setting at a reduced level. Simple operation Manual heat reduction not necessary Keep-warm function A special setting is available to automatically keep cooked food warm at a constant minimum temperature of 65 C Perfect menu preparation Timer The timer is used to select a cooking duration of up to 9.5 hours. Convenience Flexibility All of the cooking zones are vario zones. Depending on the cooking zone, pans with a diameter of 00 to 80 mm, or roasting dishes up to 00 x 00 mm can be used. Flexibility of being able to use different sized pans on the same cooking zone Touch sensor controls The various functions and power levels are set by simply touching the appropriate sensor control. The electronics are situated underneath the ceramic glass, leaving a flat, even surface to work on. Protection in the event of inadvertent changes to the power level Overheating protection Protects the induction coil and the hob by switching off automatically if a zone overheats due to an empty pan being heated. Added safety Pan recognition The heat will be interrupted if there is no suitable pan on a cooking zone which is switched on or if the pan is unsuitable.
