Panelboards are available in different sizes(p1-p5), power ratings (Amp), internal construction. Here we use Lighting Panel (P1) as an example The interior includes overcurrent protection devices (breakers), bus bars and insulated neutral bus bars. A lighting panel interior is mounted inside the can (back box) using 4 mounting studs. Residential circuit breakers are typically1-pole, 2-pole, or 4-pole breakers with current ratings of 225 amps or less and voltage ratings of 120 volts, 120/240 volts, or 240 volts
SWITCHBOARD There are multiple elements that make up a switchboard. Included in the list of elements are a frame, buses, overcurrent protection devices(breakers, Switches), service metering, and outer covers. Bus (busbar) Phase Arrangement Bus bars (made out of copper) are required to have phases in sequence so an installer will find the same fixedphase arrangement in each termination point in any switchboard. This requirement is established by NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association). Disconnect switches CT Cabinet Pull Box Several options are available to bring power into the switchboard service section, cable, pull box and bus duct. We will look at each one individually. Busway Advantage In electrical power distribution, a bus duct (also called busway), is a sheet metal duct containing either copper or aluminum busbars for the purpose of conducting a substantial current of electricity. The three main ways that a busway system will save you up front money over conduit and cable are: 1) Material Costs, 2)Shipping Costs, 3)Labor Costs Busway is defined by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) as:...a prefabricated electrical distribution system consisting of bus bars in a protective enclosure, including straight lengths, fittings, devices, and accessories. Busway includes bus bars, an insulating and/or support material, and a sheet metal housing. Elbows enable turns and height changes in the busway system. An elbow can turn the busway system right or left, up or down. Elbows are supplied with a joint stack and covers. Elbows may be ordered as stacks or sections. Elbow stacks are joint stacks that are angled "edgewise" (for up/down changes) or "flatwise" (for left/right changes).
Metering System An insulating block secures the lugs, jaws, and bussing to the enclosure. Current Path When in operation, electrical current flows from the service (line-side) conductors through the meter to the load-side conductors and then to the load center or panelboard for distribution to branch loads Each watt-hour meter requires a meter socket to safely and securely connect it to the electrical service. Because meter designs and utility requirements vary, Apelio offers a variety of singleposition and multiple-position meter sockets.
TROUGH Wireway Trough is designed to protect wiring against rain, sleet and snow in outdoor installations, or indoors against dripping water. Fabricated in accordance with UL specifications from 16-14 gauge Galvanized Powder coated Steel, Aluminum or SS304/ SS316. Continuously welded body, gasketed rainproof Cover with heavy duty butt hinges and quick release clamps. Telescope Fitting Adjustable Telescopic Fitting makes it easy to adjust the length of final connection and save the hassle of precise measuring 90 Sweep Elbow and Sweep Tee designed for large radius turns. Used with vertical or horizontal Trough sections. Removable top and inside covers.

Pull Boxes, Enclosures APELIO offers a wide range of electrical enclosures ideal for a variety of indoor or outdoor applications. The National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA) uses a standard rating system that defines the types of environments in which an electrical enclosure can be used, and frequently signifies a fixed enclosure's ability to withstand certain environmental conditions. We manufacture All NEMA rated enclosures. Per customer request most of them can be made our of either Powder coated Galvanized steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel type 304 or 316. Here we explain a few the most popular NEMA types.. NEMA 4X enclosures are primarily intended for outdoor use and offer a superior level of protection from corrosion and extreme environments. APELIO produces these enclosures in 5052-H32 aluminum, 304 or 316 Stainless Steel and they are available in a number of styles for your demanding applications. Our adherence to the rigorous NEMA standards will give you a quality enclosure, delivered quickly at a competitive price. NEMA 12 enclosures are intended mainly for indoor industrial, manufacturing, and machining applications. These metal enclosures will protect against dust, dirt, and dripping non-corrosive liquids, oil and lubricants NEMA 3R enclosures are compatible for both indoor or outdoor applications, and holds the least demanding rating for outdoor use. Mostly made for lighting contractors, housing power distribution, switch gear, and other electrical components that need to be protected in an outdoor environment. APELIO produces NEMA 1 electrical enclosures for general purpose indoor use. We adhere to NEMA standards to provide you a quality enclosure for most basic applications. NEMA 1 enclosures are intended for use fundamental applications, or where extreme environmental conditions do not exist
