05 YRINGE PUMP CAVRO CENTRI Offering excellent precision at slow flow rates, the high step count Cavro Centris is the perfect fit for microfluidic, chromatography, flow cytometry and surface plasmon resonance instruments that require smooth liquid flow with very low pulsation. It is also ideal for low volume pipetting applications to support assay miniaturization. CAVRO XCALIBUR (XC) The Cavro XC pump delivers high precision and accuracy, with a compact design to ensure it fits into small footprint instruments. It is popular with manufacturers of high quality desktop systems such as DNA sequencers, sample preparation instruments and cell-based assay platforms. This syringe pump is also particularly well suited to closed tube sampling, offering precise aspiration against a positive pressure or vacuum for example, in septum-capped blood collection tubes. UHMWPE seals also provide extended service life for some applications, ensuring reliable performance and reducing maintenance requirements. Centris pumps are also available with precision-paired ceramic syringes which ensure minimal resistance or wear and do not require a compliant O-ring seal on the plunger/barrel or an unswept dead volume further reducing downtime and maintenance.
