Shading Tension Systems
Shading Tension Systems - internal and external applications 2 s The Horiso range of Shading Tension Systems are retractable fabric based systems for installation on horizontal and sloped glazing. The systems are fully automated, suitable for both internal and external applications and include systems that deploy in any direction. The fabric is held under tension through-out its travel and can be stopped in any position. A relieving roller is used for intermediate fabric support when required. The systems were designed to maximise daylight under dull conditions and reduce solar heat gain and glare for both commercial and residential buildings. s include offices, shops, hotels and heritage public buildings. Benefits All motorised systems. All retractable systems. Operate on horizontal, curved and sloped glazing. Internal and external applications. Maximise daylight under dull conditions. Reduce solar heat gain and glare. High durability in all weather conditions. Features Highly flexible. High quality components. Shaped windows accommodated. Motorised guided systems can be stopped during operation. Various draw directions available: - bottom to top - top to bottom - side to side. Blackout system available. Integrated control options. Option - systems complete with fabric. Standard finishes Aluminium components - standard polyester powder coated. (May vary - see separate technical sheets.) Fasteners - stainless steel and other steel parts galvanised against corrosion. Return pulleys - stainless steel. Climate Ready commitment Horiso s commitment and action to reducing the effects of climate change has resulted in our development of a Climate Ready status which includes the installation and operation by a Climate Ready Control System to minimise energy consumption and maximise the use of daylight. A Horiso Climate Ready solution encompasses consideration of: A building s location including the geographical position, sun angles, reflected glare from other buildings and natural environment such as city or country position A building s orientation and the glazed areas on different facades Robust products and systems needs due to extreme weather exposure The architectural requirements of the building. In this brochure, Horiso has endeavoured to provide accurate information on our Shading Tension Systems. If you require further details, separate technical sheet are available or please contact your Horiso representative. Cover and insert: Darling Quarter, Sydney - Australia. System - Horsio STS 200. The project has won a range of design awards including 6 Star Green Star Office as Built version 3 rating, 6 Star Green Star - V2 Office Design certified rating and 5 Star NABERS Energy and Water Rating.
