Chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) has become the process of choice for preventing distortion during the lithographic process, because it planes the wafer surface to a flat, uniform finish. 10 PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS Everything about the manufacturing process of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) from component mounting and soldering to testing the final product requires systems that are fast, flexible and totally reliable.
