PB_ER65-DRW_ 202 Device Features Features Description Heating application manager A single product code includes pre-set models for hot water and hot air applications. Keyboard Lock Display can be locked in order to prevent the unauthorised changing of operating parameters. Direct Power Supply Devices are powered directly with 230 VAC. RS485 IN Communication Port Multifunction Inputs (DI/DI2) RS485 communication port supports Modbus RTU protocol. Port is used for commissioning operations and integration to networked systems. Digital inputs are available to manage alarm contact or remote commands such standby or 2 nd setpoint. 2 nd setpoint feature allows saving energy during reduced or unoccupied periods. OUT Auxiliary Output Auxiliary relay output is available to report alarm or unit status. 20 0-5 Monitoring (Min/Max) Device continually monitors the current temperature and stores the minimum and maximum values. These values can be reviewed via the built in display. 4

PB_ER65-DRW_ 202 Controls Control List Compensator circuit Domestic hot water circuit Air system Description Unit Enable X X X Unit is enabled manually from device key pad or remote contact. Pump/Generator Enable X X Start/Stop sequence of the pump and the generator. Damper/Fan enable Valve Control Fixed setpoint X X X X Start/Stop sequence of the damper and the fan. Control maintains a constant supply temperature in the heating system. Valve Control Compensated setpoint X X Control maintains a variable supply temperature in the heating system. is reset by inside and/or outside temperatures. High Limit Control Frost control X X A temperature high limit sensor limits the valve control in order to prevent overheating. A temperature low limit prevents from freezing pipes. Control is made on the outside air sensor or a low limit sensor. Flow Control X X X Flow is monitored with a differential pressure or flow switch installed on the pump or fan. Unit operation is prevented and alarm generated when no flow is detected. Filter Control X Dirty filter is detected through a differential pressure switch installed on the filter. Dirty filter detection generates an alarm. The unit continues to operate. All controls are detailed in the application note pages 5
