Discover the various appearances of a stately home and diversified garden world combined with the history of garden art: The Museum Schloss Herrenhausen is to be found in the recently re-erected palace, which reveals a remarkable insight to the process of creation and evolution of Herrenhausen. The Grosser Garten impresses with its baroque ornaments and its splendid fountains. The Berggarten holds many botanical treasures including a wonderful collection of orchids and other exotic plants in the glasshouses. The Georgengarten, laid down in the 19th century, is a fantastic example of an idyllic landscape garden. In combination with a visit to the Museum Wilhelm Busch or the SEA LIFE Aquarium, a fascinating guided tour or a stop at the restaurants the visitors have the opportunity to spend a whole day of activities at the Royal Gardens. Opening Times and Prices 2018/2019 The Grosser Garten, the Berggarten and the glasshouses in the Berggarten are open all the year round from 9 a.m. The Georgengarten is a public open space with free access.
