SECURITY SYSTEMS ipatrol The ipatrol System provides intrusion detection with image verification in wide areas with no civil works or wires. The ipatrol System The ipatrol System constitutes the ultimate achievement of Indra Sistemas in the field of security. The ipatrol System provides intrusion detection with image verification in wide areas with no civil works or wires. The ipatrol System allows detecting both people and vehicles in complex environments with high accuracy. The ipatrol Sensors have been developed to be easily adaptable to the environment and customer needs. Its low cost makes it attractive for a wide variety of applications such as military or civil surveillance, power grid and railways surveillance, nuclear power stations, oil stations, preys, frontier checkpoint, etc. ipatrol
General description The ipatrol System is a low cost self-powered system with integrated communications easy to deploy and adaptable to the terrain orography. It can be used for perimeter protection using buried ipatrol seismic sensors, hidden underground, for critical infrastructure protection as buildings, military camps, power stations, and nuclear power stations. It can be also configured for long linear protection, to cover hundreds of kilometres, as borders, pipelines and railways. Different ipatrol devices can be connected and powered by the System, as seismic, magnetic, volumetric sensors, IR and Thermal cameras, interphone, PA and RFI. COT devices can also be integrated in the system with digital and analog I/O and PAL/ NTSC for video. The system can be used for the protection of a wide variety of communication network configurations (Star, Node to Node) and gateway interfaces (GSM/GPRS/HDSPA, Ethernet, Fiber, UHF..) ipatrol Network The ipatrol System has a proprietary encrypted communication protocol, both wired and wireless. The ipatrol System is composed by two main network components: Nodes: Integrates the communication and powering, giving access to the network to the connected devices. Gateways (optional): Extends the communication range of the network and integrates the signal to other interfaces/ protocols (GSM, Fiber...) The communication configurations can be both Node to Node, Star shaped communications with a Gateway and mixed. SECURITY SYSTEMS
Aplicable Scenarios Perimeter Protection The Gateways are installed inside the facility and gives coverage to external buried ipatrol sensors. The system is invisible for the intruder. A PTZ camera can be controlled by the system for image verification. Other intrusions devices (as volumetric) can be integrated in the system. Power Lines, Railways, The ipatrol seismic sensors are buried in a power line base, wire conduits or along the railway. Also inertial sensors can be installed to detect the manipulation of the wires. The ipatrol gateways wich are installed in the towers, at enough height to make possible attacks to the equipment difficult, and to have communication link with other ipatrol gateways. Conflictive Area Surveillance The ipatrol seismic sensors are buried in the path. An ipatrol Gateway with a camera is hidden in the environment to provide image verification and communication link. The system can use third party communication infrastructure (as GSM) or long range communication links (as UHF) Pipelines The ipatrol seismic sensors are buried over the pipeline. The ipatrol Gateways provides communication redundancy. SECURITY SYSTEMS
