WS 125 trolley washer Powerful and efficient for hygienic trolley cleaning Hygiene and cleanliness is of paramount importance in hospitals, clinics and residential care homes, not to mention other applications, e.g. laboratories etc. Any trolley used to transport or remove goods and equipment (e.g. foodstuffs, bed-linen, waste products) must be cleaned to proper standards of hygiene. The MEIKO WS 125 trolley washer was especially developed to guarantee these demanding hygiene standards. It has an extremely efficient power-wash and rinse system for cleaning these trolleys economically and hygienically. The whole appliance is made of stainless steel and can be supplied both as a pass-through machine and as frontloader. In the frontloader, the trolley is loaded into the machine and removed on the same side; in the pass-through machine, the trolley is loaded into the machine on one side and removed from the opposite side. The clean and contaminated sides are therefore separated. To prevent contamination of the clean side, only one door can be unlocked at a time and only when loading/ unloading. The doors can be supplied either as hinged doors or roller doors (optional). The wash-chamber is equipped with a washing and rinsing system which moves horizontally and is in sections to correspond to the divisions in the trolley. Thus all parts of the trolley can be reached directly and efficiently by the wash jets and the water from the separate rinse system. The whole surface of the trolley is sprayed several times with wash-water during the washing process. A powerful centrifugal pump with a 5.5 kw output is used for washing. After the recirculation wash is complete, the trolley is rinsed with hot, fresh water at a temperature of about 85 C. The rinse system is equipped with special high pressure sprays which efficiently remove the wash-water but use only a very limited quantity of clean water. The rinsing process uses a booster pump fed from the appliance s own clean water reservoir which also acts as a boiler. After rinsing, the trolley is dried by powerful fans blowing large volumes of air over the trolley. Functional details Made by and for professionals The dual wash and rinse systems which are adjusted to suit each trolley type are located on the left, right and over the trolley and move along the trolley at pre-set intervals, thus optimally cleaning the whole trolley surface several times during each washing process. Technology in the service of the user The generously-dimensioned wash-chamber provides sufficient space for all common types of trolleys. Trolleys can be efficiently and ergonomically loaded into and removed from the machine as its entrance is level with the surrounding floor. Wide jets in the drying system combined with large volumes of air and a powerful heat input to dry the trolleys with extreme efficiency. Washing and rinsing nozzles are made from the highest quality materials. Automatic tilting of the trolley This process allows the water to escape easily from the internal compartments as well as drain from the outer surfaces, thus guaranteeing outstandingly effective cleaning as well as excellent drying. Wash water filter systems Several basket filters are provided to trap all residues removed from the trolley during washing. The sloping floor directs the recirculating water directly into these filters.

This design and process technology complies with the requirements profile set out in the latest (2005) edition of the BWA Working Group standards. Dimensions and technical data The appliances are installed ready for connection to the electricity supply and ready for operation. They are delivered for 3-phase 3 / N + PE 400 V, 50 Hz current as standard. (Other forms of heating can be supplied on request).
