PlanarMag product technology leverages large scale printed circuit board and semiconductor infrastructure to create products with economic and manufacturing scalability. PlanarMag products capitalize on three innovations to dramatically change how electromagnetic components are designed and manufactured. We use a proprietary material to embed highly sensitive magnetic ferrites in a standard PCB substrate. We use a 3D electromagnetic simulator with unique design methodology to create proprietary winding structures. Finally, we use standard PCB processes to manufacture boards containing hundreds or even thousands of parts at once which can help improve performance and provides consistency while utilizing semiconductor testing on all key parameters. These advancements enable economy of scale to provide quicker cycle times in high demand and consistent lead times for assured supply. 1
