Switch the Bluetooth function off temporarily for the other devices. I want to register a sensor but the base unit cannot find the sensor. Observe the range for wireless communication (see Section Technical Data on Page 36). Wireless transmission can be impaired by walls, ceilings and other sources of interference. Reduce the distance between the base unit and the sensor in question. The batteries in the sensor are discharged. Replace the used batteries in the relevant sensor with new ones of the same type. 32 APPENDIX

The app breaks down. Download the latest version of the app from the App Store / Google Play Store. Observe the minimum system requirements of the app (see Section Technical Data on Page 36). The control lamp is too bright. The brightness of the control lamp can be adjusted. The adjustment affects each defense line. Navigate to my device - linked to lamp - brightness in the app. Set the brightness for the control lamp here. None of the problems described is similar to mine or the solutions proposed do not help. Try and reset the default factory settings. Observe the information in Section Restoring the Default Factory Settings on Page 34. If this does not help either, contact our Service department. More information is available in Section Guarantee on Page 35. APPENDIX 33

Restoring the Default Factory Settings You have encountered a problem that cannot be solved using the help provided in Section If Something Does Nor Work on Page 32. Try and reset the default factory settings. Restoring the factory settings automatically deletes all the personal user settings. Restore the factory settings before you hand over the alarm system to third parties, for example, or if you encounter a problem which cannot be cleared in any other way. 1 Ensure that the alarm system is connected to the power supply. 2 Use the metal pin and press the Reset function key for 5 seconds. 3 The factory settings are restored on the base unit. 34 APPENDIX
