trenovo impressions STAIRCASE RENOVATION IN OLD BUILDINGS Private house A house to accommodate two generations was sought out, found and lovingly renovated. The family of 7 wanted the staircase to have a uniform appearance over two floors, with no visual interruptions in the landing and corridor areas in particular. Using the Uniclic systems meant that there was no need for any disruptive metal profiles anywhere on the staircase. Nothing more of the old stairs remains visible thanks to the use of step bottom strips. The hand rail finished in a walnut colour blends into the overall appearance and helps to give the staircase character. Absolute uniformity of decor over two floors, exactly as the family had wanted. Success was also achieved in greatly reducing the loud creaking of the old staircase by screwing the substructure. That s what the owners of this property wanted too, but Grandma s green carpet was preventing it. The staircase was removed. The spiral staircase was measured out and, thanks to the variety of lengths and depths offered by the trenovo system, its coverage was cut-optimised. Freshening up the colour scheme of the railings and wall in the staircase area made this staircase a favourite spot in the house. The Highland Oak decor with its stylish handrail now invites the residents to relax and feel good again. trenovo impressions Staircase renovation in old buildings Private house Their own home a dream shared by many young couples, including this one. A young family bought this 1960s property. The plan was to make the dark stairwell light and friendly, reduce the risk of children falling down the stairs and bring the colour scheme up to date. The old wooden railings were removed and replaced by modern stainless steel ones. The string was painted white. The carpet on the stairs was removed and a fashionable grey wood decor was chosen as the stair covering. The combination of silver oak treads and white risers gives this staircase a colour-coordinated design. The stainless steel handrail and the anti-slip class R 10 of the trenovo stair cover make a significant contribution towards keeping the whole family safe. Appreciation and preserving the staircase s character were important to the owners. In particular, it was important that the first step and the handrail should not lose any of their charm. Thanks to the natural matt appearance of the trenovo decors, the staircase blends seamlessly into the newly designed hallway area. The high-maintenance carpet has given way to a sophisticated wenge wood look. The staircase is once again a defining element of the interior.
