The 320 outdoor stairlift was designed to work in a variety of weather conditions; sunshine, rain or snow. And, to cope with ever changing weather conditions, it has been tested to ensure it operates between -10 o c and +40 o c, making it suitable for most countries. Operating the 320 couldn t be easier. Lightly touch the joystick and glide effortlessly up or down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, simply press down on one of the swivel levers to turn the seat and face the upward direction, where you can easily and safely get on and off the seat. Add a removable immobiliser key for additional security, as well as a protective cover to shield it from dirt when not in use, and you have your perfect stairlift to enjoy outdoor living. This is why the 320 comes with a host of thoughtful touches and features that make it a joy to use and give you complete peace-of-mind. Below are the benefits and features common to the Stannah 320 for outdoor straight stairs. 1. Directional controls Can be mounted on either arm, the joystick controls the stairlift direction. 5. Safety edges Safety sensors around the footrest and carriage automatically detect any obstruction on your stairs, bringing your stairlift to a safe and gentle stop. 2. Seatbelt A simple rucksack style seatbelt. 6. LED light Indicates that the 320 is on. 3. Swivel levers Light-touch levers on either side of the stairlift operate the swivel seat. 7. On/off switch 4. Foldaway seat The seat, armrests and footrest can be folded away for safety when not in use. 8. Keyswitch If required, the keyswitch can be used to completely immobilize the stairlift. 320. Your step-by-step guide We believe a stairlift should go beyond the functional. To us, that means making it beautifully simple to operate. 1. Using the optional call station, you can send and receive your stairlift to either end of the stairs. 2. Once unfolded, make yourself comfortable in the seat. Fasten the seatbelt for additional security. 3. A gentle movement of the joystick is all it takes to make your stairlift glide effortlessly upstairs or downstairs. 4. When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you can swivel your stairlift around so you can get off safely. 5. When you are not using your stairlift, you can leave it in its swivelled position to act as a barrier. 6.
