Sculptural shadow play LP CITÉ is inspired by the play of light in architectural spaces. Shapes, shadows and the soft tangibility born of the interplay between light and dark. There is no superfluous decoration or colour to be found here. Only the curved plates create a decorative shadow play, leading the light unhindered through the opening in the bottom. The individual placement of the plates breaks up the triviality of the symmetry, such that the perception of the light changes with the viewing angle. The shadows coalesce and create order in chaos.
