A firm commitment to successful projects.

Our goal is a rewarding project experience. Engineer Archie Becher, Sr. and Land Surveyor Melvin Hoppe teamed up in 1954 in Wausau, Wisconsin, to provide professional engineering and surveying services to surrounding communities in north central Wisconsin. Expanding upon its success with multidisciplinary project management, in 1973, the Becher Hoppe firm began offering architectural services. Today, and hundreds of successful projects later, Becher Hoppe is a leading Wisconsin engineering and architecture firm serving municipal, county, and state governments; developers, agricultural clients, private institutions, and businesses throughout the state. Our multidisciplinary team of more than 35 professional engineers, architects, surveyors, real estate specialists, and support staff listen carefully to your needs and apply their skills and talents to ensure a mutually rewarding project experience.

Scope of project experience. Becher Hoppe s range of project expertise is wide including extraordinary successes in Airport, Architecture, Environmental, Highway, Municipal, Real Estate, Survey, and Water Resources projects. This diversity of services allows us to provide a full-service solution for our clients. To meet each client s unique project needs, we take a flexible approach, applying a combination of tried-and-tested methods, new technologies, and innovative thinking. Becher Hoppe s long and proven track record is more than a testament to our capabilities, it reflects the successes enjoyed by clients who elected to entrust their visions with us. Breadth of service capabilities. The best projects are ones serviced throughout all phases by a cohesive, capable team. Becher Hoppe is a single-source, full-service, whole-project firm. Whether a project must address considerations regarding vehicle and pedestrian traffic control and safety, sustainable-design goals, environmental concerns, site-specific challenges and more, Becher Hoppe is the one firm with people to handle it all. The City of Wisconsin Rapids was faced with a major renovation of our City Hall because of various issues with water damage. Becher Hoppe worked with us to identify what solutions made the most sense and made sure we were comfortable with these solutions. The project changed somewhat during construction, but all and all, things moved along as smoothly as possible. As the client, we were treated with great respect and patience. When we asked a question, they responded in a very timely fashion. Mary Jo Carson Mayor, City of Wisconsin Rapids, WI 2006-2012

As a multidisciplinary and highly resourceful company, we are able to address the numerous key aspects of your architectural or construction project feasibility planning, design, civil engineering, surveying, real estate appraisal and acquisition, certification and permitting, environmental and water services, construction services, and more. You can find a complete list of the many services we provide at becherhoppe.com. Our goal is to assist in every step of your project, with a smooth process that ensures your freedom from worry and surprises.

Depth of commitment. The cornerstone of Becher Hoppe s historic success and our model for the future is the trust we have earned by being thoroughly committed to our clients and their projects. We are tightly focused on overcoming clients challenges, meeting their budgets and schedules, and delivering completed projects that achieve our clients goals. Our technical capabilities are matched by our detailed approach to project management, processes, organization, and clear communication. Our policy of being client-driven and responsive translates to, being there every step of the way reassurance that Becher Hoppe represents a trustworthy project partner.

Responsibility to quality of life. Our home in north central Wisconsin is blessed with a wealth of natural riches: clean-water lakes, rivers and trout streams; a landscape that transitions from agricultural fields to vast forests; and abundant wildlife. Our communities enjoy fresh air, welcoming neighborhoods, and lively downtowns. Preserving these gifts ranks high in Becher Hoppe s role as a corporate citizen and impacts how we view every project. Our commitment to sustainability, support for green projects, ecology-related initiatives, clean air and water, downtown revitalization, parks, historic preservation, and more is demonstrated through our daily work. We invite you to join us in this important, ongoing effort to protect, preserve, and improve our natural and civic environments. Becher Hoppe has delivered exceptional service to the City of Wausau for decades. The knowledge and expertise they provide of the City s water and wastewater systems is invaluable. From studies to making recommendations on the operations of the two plants, Becher Hoppe has always kept what is best for the City first and foremost. Bradley J. Marquardt, P.E.
