Description: Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner is a powerful acidic based detergent used for the removal of water scale and insoluble deposits from both ice machines and glass washing/dishwashing machines. Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner contains highly effective scale dissolving organic acids and fast penetrating wetting agents to ensure scale is quickly and safely removed from the inside of machines. Scale becomes dislodged and remains in solution or suspension, permitting complete removal when rinsing. Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner is also designed to be used either manually or by recirculation techniques making it a versatile product for all machines where water scale occurs. Benefits: Liquid formulation for easy dilution Powerful organic acid base to quickly attack scale Fast acting wetting agents to allow penetration of scale Effective detergent action permits manual cleaning of soil and grease from surfaces Will not harm stainless steel or plastic surfaces. Directions for Use: Ensure correct apron, rubber gloves and safety glasses are worn before commencing cleaning operation. Descaling and cleaning ice banks and machines. Dilute Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner 1 part to 50 parts water (2% v/v) in tap water then apply liberally over internal surfaces of empty machine. As surfaces may be cold, allow a few minutes contact time to gain the best penetrating effect. Rub treated surfaces with a soft scourer or sponge paying attention to corners and seams within machine. Rinse out with tap water before refilling machine. Descaling glasswashing and dishwashing machines. Turn off machine detergent dispensing equipment and dump contents of tank. Refill with fresh water then add Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner at the rate of 20 mls per litre of tank volume. Turn on machine and allow solution to recirculate for approximately 10 minutes. Dump tank contents and turn on machine again with rinse cycle selected. Alternatively dump tank and rinse manually with fresh water. Small residues of Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner remaining will not hinder performance when machine is returned to normal operation. Where once through glasswashing machines are to be cleaned, simply replace detergent feed line from normal detergent container to Ice Bank Descaler and Ice Machine Cleaner container and allow machine to run for 10 minutes. Remove descaler and return machine to normal operation.

Colour dyed for safety and cleaning solution recognition. Manufactured from food grade ingredients. Low acid formulation for improved safety in use. Stable food grade dye used for safety and improved storage life of product. Manufactured under strict HACCP requirements. Concentrated formulation for economical cleaning. Powerful cleaning action for fast removal of water scale, soils and biofilms even at low temperatures. Safe on lines, seals and stainless steel fittings. Free rinsing allowing lower water consumption. Drum label colour coded to wall charts and MSDS for extra safety. Linked to colour coded Cellar System to avoid product mix ups. Also excellent for descaling glass washing machines.

A B C D FOUR STEP CLEANING PROCESS SETTING UP 1. Always wear rubber gloves. Apron and safety glasses. 2. Turn off machine. 3. Open drain valve and flush tank with warm water. 4. Close drain valve. CLEANING 1. Mix 20mls of ICE BANK / ICE MACHINE in every 1 litre of warm water used for cleaning. 2. Apply liberally over all internal surfaces of empty machine tank. 3. Allow 1-5 minutes for product to penetrate scale and other soils. 4. Rub treated areas with a soft scourer or sponge, paying particular attention to corners and seams. RINSING 1. Open drain valve and allow any solution in tank to drain. 2. Rinse surfaces well with fresh water and allow to drain. 3. Wipe over internal surfaces with a wet sponge to remove any final residual chemical. 4. Give all internal surfaces a final light water rinse and allow to drain completely. REFILL MACHINE 1. Close drain valve. 2. Switch on machine and allow to refill with ice.
