Airport Firefighting Chemical & Foam Co-Op Program! A nationwide joint purchasing agreement is now available for AFFF and Dry Chemical. This agreement has been established through the Airport Purchasing Group. Most airport Purchasing Departments are probably members of this group already, or are at least aware of its existence. This agreement should make it easier to purchase extinguishing agents and hopefully will save ARFF Departments a little money in the process. The pricing is good, but not as low as it could be with more airports actually purchasing from this agreement. Anyone can use this current agreement and the more that do, the lower the cost will be when it goes out for bid. To promote the science and improve the methods of aviation fire & protection 5
