The new smart transmitter with the one-inch flush mount process connection can be installed in any existing one-inch flush mount fitting without the cost of replumbing. The one-inch process connection is also available with a weld-on nipple assembly option for new installations. If your old system has the standard one-inch flush mount design, there has never been a better time to upgrade to Rosemount technology. The with the one-inch flush mount process connection comes equipped with these standard features: Easy Installation for existing one-inch mounts 3-hole rotational mounting flexibility HART communication compatibility 0 50 psi with 20: rangeability Local zero/span or remote calibration capability Viton O-ring for use with a wide variety of process fluids Optional LCD meter for local display of process pressure SUPERIOR FUNCTIONALITY The design incorporates a process connection that positions the isolating diaphragm of the transmitter flush with the vessel wall. This design eliminates clogging problems associated with traditional transmitters used in highly viscous processes that tend to crystallize, polymerize, or precipitate, such as those in the pulp and paper industry. Its small size and rugged, in-line construction make it ideal for paper mill applications on stock lines, refiners, screens, cleaners, vacuum boxes, and vented tanks. SUPERIOR ROSEMOUNT DESIGN Two-compartment housing provides a junction box for easy access to test terminals and RFI protection, and a separate airtight electronics housing which allows easy replacement of the circuit board. Optional LCD meter. Provides readout directly from the transmitter (See Figure 2). The Rosemount has these technologically advanced features: HART protocol compatibility. The Model 2090P has full smart communication capabilities via the HART Communicator. Microprocessor-based circuitry ensures excellent performance by optimizing sensor linearity and reducing the external influences of temperature. Each transmitter is factory characterized to deliver exceptional performance. Unique silicon-based resistance sensing element is a Rosemount-patented thin-film, polysilicon sensor that guarantees excellent performance and stability in harsh environments (see Figure ). Zero Elevation and Suppression Zero can be suppressed between atmosphere (2090PG), or 0 psia (2090PA) and upper range limit, provided the calibrated span is equal to or greater than the minimum span, and the upper range value does not exceed the upper range limit.
