Blood bank refrigerators /BBR & Mini Series Operating temperature: + C. Equipment certified according to 9//EEC directive and following amendments Technical features External body: in zinc plated steel powder coated to ensure durability and bacteria resistance. The interiors of the MINI are zinc plated steel and white coated while all BBR are made of stainless steel AISI 0. All blood bank refrigerators have rounded interiors corners for easy cleaning. The bottom of the BBR is made specifically to catch any accidental liquid spills. The body shell is equipped with an anti-tip system when the service door opens. The MINI models can be supplied on request with an internal, stainless steel cover. All models can be supplied on request with an outer, stainless steel cover. Doors: to guarantee top quality performance, the three-layered, vacuum glass doors have special, anodised aluminium profiles and electric heating elements to avoid condensate formation. Keyed lock to prevent access by unauthorised personnel. Porthole: with mm diameter and external rubber cap for insertion of additional probes, it is standard on all models. Internal lighting: automatically switches on when the door opens (external pushbutton to switch on manually). Insulation: by injected CFC-free polyurethane foam. Drawers: made of stainless steel. They are telescopic and moving on wheels. The drawers are also equipped with a transparent front protection panel to reduce the entering of warm air while the main door is open and to facilitate the content view too. As option, the drawers can be equipped with internal dividers that helps for bags positioning and facilitate the labels reading. Temperature chart recorder: battery-operated, equipped with a key locked door, weekly circular graph, ink cartridge, temperature range from +0 C to -0 C. The controller is dual microprocessor based: one section controls the cooling system hence the internal temperature while the second section, independent, controls all the alarms and the displays. The controller is battery buffered by a self-recharging VDC battery to supply energy to the electronics up to 8 hours in case of main power black-out. As standard, the controller is equipped with free contacts for remote alarms and has the predisposition for Ethernet connection (Ethernet request additional parts, see optional accessories). L Plasma blast freezers /Plasmafrost, Plasmafrost I.Te.M. series Plasmafrost are designed for quick plasma freezing to get best recovering of proteins and coagulation factors after fractionation. Besides, all Plasmafrost comply with the EU Recommendation No. R (95)5 that applies for best practicing on plasma processing. The PLASMAFROST models can reach a temperature of -0 C in the centre of the bag in less than 0 minutes. The freezer automatically stops after 0 minutes at the end of the freeze cycle. The PLASMAFROST I.Te.M. models have a PC installed to read the bag barcode. The machine can calculate the time required to bring the bags to -0 C. The machine stops automatically when it reaches this value and is ready to receive the next batch. A report can be printed to certify the correct freezing process. Technical features Working temperature is -75 C Frame: is made by fully metallic heavy-gauge phosphate-coated steel plate, powder-painted. Assembled on wheels for easy moving. The internal chamber is made of stainless steel. Door: has a key lock and silicone seals. Thermal insulation: is guaranteed by its Sandwich technique with injected CFC-free polyurethane foam with 5 mm average thickness. Cooling system: uses refrigerated shelves and anodised, aluminium, uniformity plates that guarantee maximum performance. The refrigerant flows inside the shelf to maximise refrigerating efficiency and the uniformity plates in contact with the bags guarantee exceptional temperature uniformity. The system used consists of a mechanical cascade system with two hermetic/semi-hermetic compressors (PLASMAFROST ) and an air condenser. Control panel: is placed on the front of the equipment, clearly visible for the operator; equipped with an on/off switch with light; acoustic and visual end-of-freeze cycle indicator; maximum alarm for high pressure in the high/low stage refrigerant circuit; digital display to show internal temperature; main switch placed on the left-hand side of the machine. Software: The PLASMAFROST I.Te.M. models have an integrated computer with dedicated software, which enables you to certify the success of the plasma freeze process. The intuitive user interface enables the user to carry out the necessary operations very quickly and safely. The software has an exclusive system with a specific mathematical algorithm developed by ALS, which guarantees the freeze process and measures the temperature inside the plasma bags. This exclusive system from Angelantoni enables the freeze process for each plasma bag to be managed and accurately traced. The system is password protected and at the end of each freeze cycle, the software issues a report (PDF file) with all the relevant data, such as the plasma bag ID, the date and time of freezing, which enables the successful freeze cycle to be certified. Each cycle is enabled with the identification of the operator (a barcode reader is included in the standard package) and the ID of each plasma bag loaded inside the freezer. ColdBrain The Cold Brain microprocessor-operated command and control system uses multiple, top quality sensors ( PT00 and NTC); an effective, flexible alarm system guarantees the plasma and its by-products are controlled in complete safety. Wide graphic display (0 8 pixel) with capacitive touch keyboard. Microprocessor-operated electronic board has two completely independent sections, one to regulate the temperature and the other to manage the alarm system and display the temperature. Data recorder integrated in the board: the traditional paper chart recorder has been replaced by an electronic recorder. The operational parameters and the alarms are saved once a minute for months.
