02 Dräger AFS 3000 Aircraft Fire Simulator Benefits New standards for Aircraft Firefighting The Dräger AFS 3000 is an economical and extremely effective aircraft fire simulator. Thanks to its compact design, it takes up less space than alternative aircraft simulators. It is not designed with a permanent foundation and thus, no underground installation of gas lines is required. The entire system can also be easily disassembled and relocated to a different training area. The AFS 3000 simulator is constructed with heat and weather-resistant steel. The robust material ensures a long life as well as ease of maintenance. An integrated sprinkler system cools the wing and fuselage sections of the simulator, making it ready to use again within minutes. Authentic fire simulations With its multiple fire scenarios, the AFS 3000 provides realistic training conditions. The entire system is operated from a control area via a touch screen. Each fire in the simulator is operated separately or in combination with other components. The intensity of the flames can be adjusted in three stages. In addition to the primary touch screen controls, all fires can be operated via a wireless remote control system. Control = safety A fully automatic control promotes safety during the training. The system is also environmentally friendly, operating with propane. In case of emergency, the gas supply is immediately interrupted by an emergency stop switch. This allows realistic simulation of fires on turbines, hydraulics, and wheels in a safe and controlled condition. Optional extras There is an optional extension module available for simulation of aircraft firefighting. Searching for injured persons and evacuation measures can also be simulated using various models of training dummies.
