See "Technical data" at the beginning of the manual. * GENERAL REQUIREMENT The installation, modification or repair of the appliance must be performed according to professionnal standards by a specialised fitter. * HANDLING Handling must only be performed with the appropriate hoisting equipment. If the appliance is to be transported, it must be carried on its original pallet and in no event be placed on top of other appliances. If it is to be moved without its pallet the appliance must be carried and not pulled. * UNPACKING -Separate the base of the appliance by removing the 2 M10 screws located beneath the base. - Pull out the electric cable located at the rear of the appliance under the tank. Dishwasher without hoist. -Screw the 4 jacks under the dishwasher to adjust the height (jacks are provided in a bag inside the appliance). Dishwasher with hoist - Screw the 4 jacks to the leg ends. -Place the appliance on the hoist and join by means of the 4 screws supplied with the hoist. NOTA : Use the jacks to level the dishwasher. Code NU271700-1197-Ind.A-04/98 OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION * CONTROL PANEL DESCRIPTION * BEFORE OPERATION Carry out these operations BEFORE washing the first rack : 15 Minutes before (if your appliance is supplied with warm water). 1 hour before (if your appliance is supplied with cold water). * 1 Check the filter position * 2 Check the drain control switch (option) is set on "Exit" position. * 3 Check the supply of water * 4 Close the door. * 5 Set the On/Off switch on "On" position * 6 The appliance fills up with water, then the heater The green pilot light lights up. operates. (Tank capacity = 24 liters) * Unfit the overflow tube without taking it out of the filter, if tank drain pump option press the drain control switch on On position. * Introduce a rack of dirty crockery. * Set the program selector on the desired wash cycle. * Remove the eventual scraps from the tank. Take out and clean the filter. * Press the drain control switch on Off position (option). * Close the door. * Put the filter and the overflow tube, and wash the tank with a disinfectant product. To do this, fill the tank again and start a washicycle. * Press the cycle start switch. The cycle starts. * At the end of the cycle, open the door. The pilot light of development of the program lights up. * Check the wash turnstiles can turn freely. If a nozzle is blocked, see chapter "Turnstiles removal". * Drain the tank * Put the On/Off switch on "Off" position. At the end of the cycle, open the door. * Take out the rack of clean crockery. * Introduce a new rack of dirty crockery. * Carefully wipe the tank with a sponge. * Close the door and press the cycle start switch to start a new cycle. * If your appliance is not equipped with an external wash meter, every 4 racks introduce the quantity of detergent corresponding to the 14 liters of consumed water. Code NU271700-11/97-Ind.A-04/98 PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR USE PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR USE * PREPARATION OF CROCKERY. Remove all scraps from the crockery (food scraps or others). Empty the containers. The pieces of crockery with stuck food must previously be soaked and cleared of it. Put the dirty crockery in the racks. To obtain the best results, it is necessary to respect the following points : Place each piece in the corresponding rack, Avoid overloading the racks, Place hollow pieces turned over in the rack and never piled up, Use the partitionned racks to wash the glasses in inclined position. Place preferably the flatware in the sockets (handle downwards). * EVENTUAL INCIDENTS. The crockery is not clean. Scraps on crockery. - Inadequate scraping. - Wash cycle time too short - Insufficient detergent concentration. - Wash or rinse nozzles are obstructed. White stains on glasses. - Hard water. Install a water softener or regenerate. Glasses are not clear after several wash cycles. - Water is too mineralized. Use cleaning compound. Drying cycle too long. - Check the presence of rinse product and consumption of surface-active product. Traces of detergent on crockery. - Too high detergent quantity. - Insufficient rinse cycle (nozzles are obstructed). Flatware is altered. (Caused by the various acids which take part in the composition of the food). - Regularly renovate using an appropriate product. Marks created by blades of knives on certain types of crockery, food particles incrusted into scratches and tarnishing crockery. Regularly renovate using an appropriate product. High quantity of foam. - Wash water temperature inferior to 50 C. - Quantity of rinse product too high. - Obstructed filter. - Too high concentration of dairy products in the wash holder. Code NU271700-11/97-Ind.B-01/99 SERVICE - SERVICE - SERVICE - SERVICE - SERVICE - SERVICE - To ensure the guarantee of this equipment, you must carry out the following service operations : * End of operation (2nd part) * Cut off the electric power * Close the water supply * Check the levels of the containers of : at the main circuit-breaker. - rinse product - detergent (exterior appliance) - regenerating salts (option). Complete if necessary * Let the door open to favour the drying of the dishwasher. * Access to the rinse product meter and regenerating salts vat (option) - Rinse meter : located behind the front lower panel. - Regenerating salts vat(interior tank) * Rinse product meter operation : The meter flowrate setting is made by using the meter setting screw. * First setting according to the manufacturer indications. Correct if necessary according to the results obtained on the crockery. Surface-active product meter is set in factory. It is possible to modify the setting by removing the lower cover. - Screw to reduce the injected quantity. - Unscrew to increase the injected quantity. WARNING : never screw or unscrew at the maximum. * If the rinse product container is completely empty prime again the meter after filling. - Prime the metering system (control panel) by starting very short wash cycles every 10" to 15". These data are just indications. The regeneration is necessary if there is a white deposit on the glasses. Before each regeneration check the quality of salt in the salt vat (paragraph 3-4), the vat capacity allows three regeneration cycles. The regeneration pilot light lights up during the cycle (about 20 mn). When the pilot light is off the regeneration is over. * Drain the tank again and switch off the appliance. NOTA : The regeneration must only start when the tank is empty. Warning : The start of the regeneration cycle forbids the dishwasher operation. * REGENERATING SALTS VAT FILLING - Fill the salt vat with a proper coarse salt or pastille. Close the vat. Code NU271700-11/97-Ind.B-01/99 GUARANTEE - GUARANTEE - GUARANTEE - GUARANTEE - GUARANTEE - GUARANTEE GUARANTEE NO GUARANTEE IS ABSOLUTE Our guarantee only applies for a normal use. That is to say when the recommandations of our use and service manuals are strictly respected. It will also be valid only if the recommended periodical visits of service and/or control have been carried out by our technicians. All our appliances are, without prejudice above, normally guaranteed for a year, from their invoice date. In case of breakdowns due to defects or manufacturing flaws visible or not, our appliances will be, through this guarantee year, repaired at our costs, parts and labour included. To profit by our guarantee, our appliances must not be modified or repaired with parts which are not original and approved by our services, or by unqualified or untrained by us staff. In case of breakdown or damage, the purchaser must warn us in writing of the faults, as soon as he knows it. In no way he can remedy himself or by someone else to these defects. Our periodical interviews are the main condition of a good operation and reliability of our appliances. They only can and must be carried out by our technicians perfectly qualified and prepared to these tasks. They have specific tools, original parts and an incessant training.the periodical interviews are essential, they are carried out to payment, but they allow a reliable operation of our appliances. The periodicity refers to normal conditions of use. In case of more strict conditions of use, it is necessary to make carry out some operations more often. WARNING : Damages caused by a connection of our appliances to a network not conformable to the instruction plate (voltage, reversing phase/neutral) as well as the unrespect of the phases order (important for three-phase motors, ventilation direction, jacks...) will not be covered by this guarantee.
