MIRADOR Real Time Monitoring Mirador is a web-based application for 24/7, real-time monitoring. This platform is available as a custom configuration to fit multiple applications of environmental monitoring during the various stages of production, storage and transportation. This fully secure system complies with regulatory requirements of the life science, pharmaceutical, healthcare and food industries. It enables you to gain visibility and control over your critical cold chain operations. Mirador can monitor conditions found in a variety of environments, such as warehouses, cold rooms, fridges, ovens, freezers, trucks, incubators, server rooms and lab rooms, to name a few. Even if the measure or desired precision is not found in the list below, it is possible to have your project evaluated by our experts in order to adapt Mirador to your particular needs. AVAILABLE MEASURES (-196 C to 300 C / -320.8 F to 572 F) Relative humidity (0-100%) Carbon dioxide (0 à 10%) Differential pressure Atmospheric pressure Door opening detection Power failure detection Water detection Absolute pressure Starting and stopping of critical devices
APPLICATIONS Warehouses Sensors are installed in the warm and cold areas of you warehouse to register environmental conditions. The sensors transmit data to a reader every 5 minutes, which then relays the information to the Mirador software interface. In case of power failure, or a loss of communication between the sensor and the reader, data are still registered and stored within the reader s internal memory, preventing any loss of data. Once communication between the two devices is reestablished, the data are transmitted to the server. Trucks Mirador can measure the environmental conditions in your trucks. The sensors are installed in the trailers and register conditions throughout the transportation process. The sensors then transmit the data to the reader as soon as communication is established (can connect within a distance of 1km in open field). Once connected, the reader relays the data to the server and appears on the software interface. Refrigerators, freezers, cryogenic freezers, or ovens: our sensors can measure temperatures ranging between -196⁰C and 300⁰C (-320.8⁰F and 572⁰F). This allows you to monitor the environmental conditions of cold chain facilities and equipment without having to do it manually. Refrigerators & Ovens Whether for use in a laboratory, or in the agri-food industry, Mirador allows you to measure the temperature, relative humidity, or carbon dioxide levels within your incubators in real time. Incubators Product Placing the sensor probe in a bottle of glycol makes it possible to measure the temperature of the products themselves, not the ambient temperature of the refrigerator. This prevents an alarm from being triggered due to a door opening, unless the physical products are truly affected.
MIRADOR SYSTEM OVERVIEW Mirador wireless sensors are configured with user-specific alarm thresholds and measurement intervals. The sensors are then strategically placed in applicable areas to monitor environmental conditions. The sensors record data and transmit the data to a reader. This reader is connected to the dedicated server where Mirador has been centrally installed or remotely hosted. The web portal provides immediate access to real-time and historical sensor data for all monitoring locations. Compliant graphs and reports may be easily retrieved from the portal. Reports are available in multiple formats, such as text report, graph and interactive graph, pdf, or.csv export to Excel. If and when a temperature excursion occurs, alerts can be delivered via text, email or pager. Mirador monitors your facilities and equipment to help you maintain the integrity of your products at all times.
INFORMATION: THE WHERE AND WHEN The Mirador Web Portal makes accessing data easy. The main interface is a representation of your installation with sensor locations and real-time readings received from sensors. It displays the list of recent alarms triggered by the system, as well as alarm status messages (acknowledge information and comments). It is also used to access other screens depending on user privileges. Various floor plans are available and can be linked to specific users. Daily reports of alarms triggered, calibration expiry dates and recorded temperatures are available. All recorded data can be stored on your own servers. Information can be retrieved in multiple formats, including text report, graph and interactive graph, pdf, or.csv export to Excel. Alarm capabilities are key features of the Mirador system. The system can alert you of sensorlevel readings (i.e. temperature excursions), or system-level issues including power failure, network connectivity loss, damage to a sensor, etc. Alarm notifications can be delivered via text message, email or pager, so a designated person can investigate the reason for the alarm and take immediate action. An audit trail interface is used to display all interventions and actions recorded by the system, in compliance with the FDA code 21 CFR Part 11. Alarm relays can also be installed to connect the system to an alarm company, such as Chubb or ADT to help reduce the risks of product loss. Please note that Cryopak is not affiliated with any alarm company and these names are only given as an example. In addition: Mirador software validation is available upon request and is required by various regulations that are currently in place. This validation process covers the installation, operation and performance of the software. The protocol will be written and approved by Cryopak Verification Technologies (CVT) and the customer. The execution can either be done by CVT, or the customer. Once the execution is completed, a final report will be written.
