1 Important Safety Instructions Read all instructions carefully before installing or using this device for the first time. The system must be completely cooled to room temperature prior to system set-up or breakdown. 2 Electrical connection The power connection must be 115 VAC / 230V and checked against the voltage specification label located on the side of the unit. Maximum current is: (230V) 6 Amp (115V) 12 Amps The power plug must be properly grounded at all times. 3 Restrictions for use This unit has been constructed for indoor use only. It must be only in a clean, dry environment. It is not recommended to place any items on or against this unit when in use. Although proper insulated, the surface will become moderately hot during use.. Do not place objects or items on top of the convection oven at any time. Keep this user guide, or a copy near the unit, for easy reference when needed. Do not situate the oven directly against a back wall, as the back side of the oven becomes hot during use. Page 3

Be sure that there is adequate space for the drawer to be pulled out completely. Do not use steam cleaner to clean this appliance. Pressurized steam could penetrate electrical components and cause a short circuit. Do not use plastic containers or plastic wraps in the oven, unless this material has been tested and approved for this purpose. Some plastics may melt and cause damage to the oven. Do not use sharp objects to remove dirt / debris from the Grill. Grill has a non-stick coating that can be damaged by sharp objects or abrasive cleaning. Page 4

4 General Description Before use it is vital that all safety items mentioned in section 1 have been read and approved. 4.1 Unit Layout Power inlet, fuses and main switch Status light / re-activate button Touch display with temperature readout Drawer for masks Page 5

4.2 Power inlet Use the accompanying cable to hook up to the power source. Make sure the outlet is proper grounded. The inlet consists of a fuse box below, inlet in centre and main switch on top. Consult the specification label for the correct power input power selection. Turn on the unit by the main switch. When the unit is not being used, switch it off using this main switch. In both stand-by and sleep mode, the oven consumes power. 4.3 Touch screen When powering up, the touch display will show the current temperature and the desired set point of the oven. The blue marked value is the oven temperature, the black value is the set point. Change the set point by hitting the up / down buttons. The set point is active immediately after changing. When powered off and on, the unit will remember the last set point. Set Point Range: minimum: 50 C / 122 F maximum: 80 C / 176 F Buttons can be activated by a finger or medium soft object. Do not use knife or sharp pointed objects. Page 6

Press the Setup button to access the setup screen. Setup screen allows choosig Celsius or Fahrenheit display. Press the Back button to return to main screen. If left idle here for 20 seconds, the screen will autoreturn to the main menu. 4.4 Status light / front button When oven is turned on by the main switch, the Red status light will flash. This indicates that the unit is active, but not ready to accept thermoplastic items, as the selected temperature set point has not been reached. After approximately 5 minutes, depending on the set point, the light will be constant on, showing the unit ready for use. After 2 hours of idle time, the unit will go into a stand-by mode, dropping the temperature to 50 C / 122 F. The light will flash, but with longer pause between the flashes of light. After 4 hours of idle time, the unit will go into sleep mode, where the heater is turned off. The light will blink, pause will be longer. To exit any of the modes, sleep or standby, simply push the button, or pull out the drawer. Pulling out the drawer, or pushing the button, resets the time to standby. Page 7

4.5 Drawer for masks Pulling out the handle opens the drawer for the masks. When the oven is opened, the fans blowing will stop, decreasing the drop in temperature that the opening will cause. Make sure to open the drawer fully, allowing easy access to insert the masks. The oven holds two head masks, on the left and right side, or one full mask. NOTE: Make sure the drawer is fully closed after insertion of the mask. If a gap exists allowing the air to escape, the masks will not be heated uniformly, with the front edge of the compartment being cooler than the interior rear. NOTE: When the drawer is open, the temperature will steadily drop. To avoid longer heating times, keep the open time of the drawer to a minimum. NOTE: The grill is coated with a non-stick Teflon coating, to prevent masks from sticking. This coating is a non-toxic food-industry standard coating. The coating is however NOT scratch resistant, so keep sharp metal objects away from the grill. Page 8

5 General use instructions This section provides a step-by-step guide to the use. Refer to previous section for details on each step. Turn on the unit using the main switch on the side. Verify that the desired set point is selected Wait for the set point to be reached, the light stops flashing, or the display shows the oven temperature equal to the set point Open the drawer and place the material to be heated on the grill Allow the oven time to transfer the heat to the material. This time does depend on the type of the material, but usually around 5-10 minutes. Check the readiness of the material by visual inspection Open drawer, remove the material when ready, close drawer, and apply it to its intended use. Repeat process, or turn off the main switch when completely done. 6 Cleaning the oven Clean the appliance with a solution of warm water and liquid soap applied with a soft sponge. Dry with a soft cloth. Caution do not clean the Display with water, only with a dry soft cloth. Do not use steam cleaner to clean this appliance. Pressurized steam could penetrate electrical components and cause a short circuit. 7 Repair Should a defective unit need repair the cleaned unit must be shipped to the USA distributor, Klarity Medical Products, LLC.
